The Contucci Winery in Montepulciano, Italy

I always thought wineries were located in vineyards, but to my surprise, there's a winery right in the heart of Montepulciano's old town. You can visit it freely during opening hours without any reservation and for free. The history of 'Contucci' dates back to 1008, and it is recorded as one of the creators of Nobile wine in 1778. On three floors, large barrels called Tonneau are lined up. Famous labels such as Nobile wine, Rosso di Montepulciano, Bianco di Contessa, and Vin Santo are produced here.
