Ancient Relics In North Of Bangkok
#myhiddengems #bangkok #ancient_city #mustvisit
This place is located in the city of Ayutthaya and it is definitely a hidden gem that not many tourists is aware. We came here via our own rented car and do take note that you are require to cover your legs as a form of respect.
There are many Buddhists ruins located here like that Wat Mahathat, the Bueng Phra Ram Park. It is a huge park with many photo opportunities. Also a thing to note is that it gets really warm in the afternoon so remember to bring water with you. Park also does require an entry fee as well.

Bueng Phra Ram Park
I like the peaceful scenery here and it has something alluring versus temples in Bangkok area. Also love that it is easy to park your car or motorcycle in and around the park and temples.
I would recommend coming in early, especially if you are planning on making pictures. The later you go, the bigger the crowd. During a hot and sunny day, queing up to make a picture can be very annoying.
Plenty of things to do in the nearby area as well. I would say it can be enjoyable alone, as a couple or with a family, from old to young.

Bueng Phra Ram Park - Ancient Temple UNESCO
#bangkoktrip #bangkok #historical #UNESCO
Thailand is not only filled with food and cheap budget shopping. It also has many historical sites located outside of Bangkok. One of which is the city of Ayutthaya.
Ayutthaya is located about a 1 hour drive north of Bangkok. This is a historical city which was founded way back around 1300s and this is one of the world's largest and alsp a UNESCO Heritage site which is located near urban areas in Bangkok. You will see alot of broken down or fallen structures as this city was attacked and burned to the ground by the burma army.
It is recommended to come here with a tour guide to explain the history behind the city. Also, do remember for the females to wear long pants covering their legs as this is a alsp considered a scared ground. An entry fee is alsp required too!
