#malaysia Bunn Choon has been around since 1893 and this restaurant known to dish out some of the tastiest dim sums in Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is located at Petaling Street. You’ll easily recognize this place from their colorful building. Bunn Choon Restaurant has two floors. At The ground floor they served freshly baked pastries while chinese restaurants in the top floor. They offered dim sum, noodles, rice bowls, dessert, drinks, etc. I ordered some of their dim sums: and my favorite are Pan Fried Radish Cake and Salted Egg Yolk Custard Pao. For the Radish Cake, they served it with Chili Oil (their chili oil is so good!). Throughout the years, Bunn Choon has made its name for having one of the best egg tart in KL, prepared using traditional recipe passed down since their establishment in 1893. If you love egg tart in layers of flaky base, this will definitely be your to-go choice. The shop is initially located same row with Ho Kow, but has now moved and re-opened as a restaurant, right next to the entrance of Kwai Chai Hong. Price per Person - RM15-20 Rating - 4 stars Situated near Kwai Chai Hong, this old school bakery has been running since 1893, probably the last old school dim sum place left in Chinatown (the other 2 has closed down). opens Tuesday to Sunday from 7.30am to 3.30pm, it gets crowded very fast after opening. Downstairs is the bakery, while you can head upstairs for a table, a rather small place (hence the queue) but very prompt and good service. the place has retained most of the old charm and the dim sum is still great.
