📍Bangkok's fresh spa. Calm Spa Thailand.
In the past, when I went to Thailand, I would inevitably go to large chain SPAs, such as Let’s Relax, Divana, Centre Point, etc. There have been improvements and setbacks, and different branches have different effects. In recent years, I have started to look for non-chain ones. This time I went to Calm Spa Thailand, which I thought was very good!
Calm Spa is located near BTS ARI station, and ARI is a cultural and artistic community in Bangkok. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to take a good look. Due to time constraints, I took a Grab to go there. When I passed by, I saw that it was actually quite a distance from the BTS station to Calm Spa on foot. Google said 7 minutes, but under the scorching sun without any shelter, I believe it would take 10 minutes~
Calm Spa is on the 2/F of a single-family house. I made an appointment a few days before departure, and they responded very quickly~ There are many options online. I have been sitting in an office for many years, and my shoulders and neck are stiff, so I booked a related one to relieve myself! Menu and prices can be found on the website.
After checking the information at the front desk downstairs, you can go upstairs. The room is green and natural light is used. You can't imagine that this is a SPA. Surrounding the lobby are SPA rooms. There is a Welcome Drink. You fill in the information, such as the strength requirements of the body part and whether there are any sensitive diseases, etc. Then the masseur will take you to the room. The room is elegant and simple and has a style~
Of course, the environment is comfortable, but the most important thing is the quality! The masseuse did her best for 120 minutes. She would occasionally ask me if I was cold. When she pressed the lymph nodes, it hurt at first and then I felt a thump. The masseuse then changed her method and helped me loosen it up little by little. She knew my shoulders were stiff, and I felt that she had to use her strength to help me loosen them up. After the massage, all the tension was gone, but after a few days, I felt much more relaxed!
After the massage, we sat in the lobby. The staff served snacks and tea and asked us to fill in the score sheet. Then we went downstairs to pay. There are their own SPA products downstairs. If you are interested, you can buy them. There is actually a restaurant on the other side of the downstairs. The environment seems to be good. You can try it if you have time after the massage. Or, while the ladies are enjoying themselves, the men can eat and wait in the restaurant. Haha~ But there is nothing else near the SPA shop. You have to go to ARI station to see more~
There is a branch called Calm in the City near Phloenchit station. Although I still think the Ari branch with sunlight is more beautiful, I want to try it again if I have the chance to go to Bangkok~
Open hours: 11:00 am – 9:00pm
