Fishing in Phuket|Just need hands!!!
Depart from Chalong Bay at 8 AM! With the guidance of an experienced local fishing guide, we quickly found a school of fish!
-
First, we did bottom fishing for groupers, using Shimano electric reels provided on the boat. Once we got the hang of it, we started catching fish one after another. If the sonar showed no fish, we immediately reeled in and moved to a new spot!
-
After getting tired of grouper fishing, we started looking for floating objects and bird flocks. When we drifted near them, we began jigging. Deep-sea jigging was incredibly thrilling, and getting a bite from a tuna meant I had sashimi for the day. The local guide even made fresh tuna sashimi on the spot! It was so fresh!!
-
We encountered a 20+ kg GT (Giant Trevally) midway. The pull was so strong that I felt like I was being dragged into the sea. The guide patted me on the shoulder and said, 'Slowly, slowly,' but the line got tangled with floating debris and snapped. I was so frustrated! But luckily, I caught a wahoo later, which made up for the disappointment.
-
We were super lucky to spot a pod of dolphins while looking for fishing spots! At least 20-30 dolphins swam alongside the boat, and the adorable creatures even put on a little show for us.
Later, a lady on the same boat caught a squid, which is perfect for sashimi! Haha, we had a feast that night. We returned to the port around 6:30 PM, and took the fish we caught to a nearby Chinese restaurant for processing. It was so delicious; fish you catch yourself always tastes better. 😋

There are
There are three major terminals in Chalong Pier
Phuket. The Chalong Pier is mainly a speedboat to the Grand Emperor Island. It is here every day because of the relationship of diving.
Almost at dusk when I returned to Hong Kong, but it also made me see the beauty of "Sunset Chalong". And here we can often see the young lady who is wearing a donkey, it is definitely a welfare for the majority of male compatriots.

Ao Chalong, Phuket, walk, relax, not far from the city.
#Nature attractions
Place: Ao Chalong, Phuket, walk, sit and relax, not far from the city
Highlights: Good atmosphere, chill, beach, is a port bay, not in the top 10, but you can walk, sit and relax near Phuket city. There are bathrooms, lots of parking, but the road from Chalong Intersection is quite narrow and there are people walking on both sides of the road.
Coordinates: Phuket, Mueang Phuket District, Chalong, Unnamed Road

Cafe Gabi, Phuket
It’s really easy to find Cafe Gabi, it’s just opposite Chalong Temple. The restaurant offers excellent coffee, delicious breakfasts and Korean dishes. The environment here is quiet, and you can enjoy delicious food while listening to beautiful background music. The owner of Korean is very friendly and considerately installed electric sockets next to each table to make it convenient for customers to work here.
The cafe opens until 630pm, and there are many parking spaces available. If you are happen to visit Wat Chalong, I recommend visiting Cafe Gabi!

Sunset in Chalong Bay
Chalong Bay is the place I've been wanting to visit for a long time, but I've been constantly postponing my trip there. But not so long ago I finally managed to get here and I was immediately lucky: I saw a beautiful sunset. There are a lot of yachts moored in the bay, so I had the impression that I was not in Thailand, but somewhere on the Cote d'Azur.
It is much quieter here than on the beaches of Phuket, so if you are looking for privacy, come here and enjoy a walk.
