King Naresuan the Great...History of Chan Palace
Phitsanulok Songkhwae is the land of the three great kings: Phraya Lithai, Somdet Phra Borommatrailokanat, and Somdet Phra Naresuan the Great. It has been important since the Sukhothai period until the Ayutthaya period. It is currently a large city in the lower northern region.
Chan Palace is the residence of the princes and lords of Phitsanulok from the beginning, but there is no evidence left except for the foundation of the original palace.
This place is now home to the Phitsanulok Historical Learning Center, which has beautiful old wooden houses. The area around it is a riverside park for people to relax and exercise.
Thinking of the great kindness of Somdet Phra Naresuan the Great, let's learn about the history of his residence at Chan Palace.
