Where can you go in Nakhon Phanom for 1 day?
Nakhon Phanom, a small and chic city, is rich in history and culture, and still has a beautiful landscape, along the Mekong River, with a view of the mountains on the Laos side.
Cafes and accommodations have sprung up like mushrooms, but it still maintains its uniqueness as a peaceful city, suitable for relaxation.
Today, we will take you to check in at some places. Let's see.
1. Start by praying for blessings at Wat Phra That Phanom Woramahawihan and worship Thao Wessuwan, which is located in the temple area, before traveling to Mueang Nakhon Phanom District.
2. When you arrive in Nakhon Phanom, go to the first check-in point, which is near the walking street, a lawn where you can enjoy the breeze and view the Mekong River, Nakhon Phanom. There will be a signature, "Nakhon Phanom, the End of Thailand", on the wall for taking pictures and enjoying the view of the Mekong River.
3. Clock Tower, a collection of restaurants. Today, we went to have lunch at Tiew Tem Toa, a restaurant and bar.
4. And then stop at a Japanese-style cafe, MoGu cafe, a small shop with both indoor and outdoor seating and a view of the river, but I didn't take a picture inside because there were a lot of people when I went. I recommend not going during noon. 😊
5. Lan Phraya Sri Satta Nakarat This is another landmark that you must not miss. Tourists like to come to pray and see the magnificent Mekong River. It is also a center for lottery sales. Those who want to try their luck should not miss it.
On Saturdays and Sundays, there will be fireworks. If you come at the right time, you will get a picture of the Naga spraying water.
6. Opposite the Phraya Sri Satta Nakarat Plaza is the Landmark Hotel.
It offers both accommodation and a cafe and restaurant. We were hot, so we took shelter from the sun and ordered a cold drink at an inexpensive price. We sat and enjoyed the view, took a few photos, and rested before continuing.
7. Jungkle Space Cafe This is a bit far away. Pin the map. The shop is quite far away, but once you get there, you will be there. The shop is beautiful. It is a cafe with a large area. There is a green lawn surrounded by trees. There are many seats, both indoor and outdoor. I recommend going in the evening because the weather is hot and humid. The tables inside the shop are full. The drink menu looks good and tastes delicious. Prices start at 90 baht.
There are many photo spots.
8. When you are tired, go to your accommodation. We stayed at a very popular hotel, Chiva Khong, which is hard to book. The rooms with river views are always full. We got a room with a city view. But the common area, such as the top floor, has a swimming pool. You can come up and use this area. In the morning, the light is very beautiful, the view is very beautiful.
And the hotel also has a cafe. It is a cafe with a great view. Those who love taking pictures will definitely not rest.
That's all for the check-in points that we brought to you.
If anyone comes to Nakhon Phanom, they say they will want to come again. 😊
