Disney Resort: If you plan to visit Disney Resort, staying in Xujiahui is convenient, as Line 11 goes directly there. Ticket prices vary depending on the date and ticket type. Check the official channels for details. After entering, head to popular attractions like Tron Lightcycle Power Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Plan your route based on the crowds and your preferences. There are many photo spots in Disney Resort, such as in front of the castle and the Alice in Wonderland Maze. Note: Outside food is not allowed, and food inside is expensive. You can bring some small snacks. Local Treats: Try the turkey legs and corn dogs. Transportation: Public transport is the way to go in Shanghai. The subway and buses are very convenient. The subway network is extensive and covers most attractions. There's no need to take a taxi, especially during rush hour, as traffic can be heavy. North Bund: If you want to avoid the crowds at the Bund, the North Bund offers similar views and photo opportunities of the historic buildings and the Bund's iconic trio. The photo ops are fantastic. Admission: Free. Wukang Building: Visit Wukang Building in the morning. It gets crowded in the afternoon, and the lighting isn't good for photos in the evening. Afterward, stroll down Anfu Road, which has many trendy shops. Xujiahui Cathedral and Xujiahui Library are also within walking distance. The best photo spot for Wukang Building is at the intersection of Wukang Road and Huaihai Middle Road, where you can capture the entire building. Admission: Free. Local Treats: There are many coffee shops and dessert places nearby, such as Peet's Coffee and Mabushi Ice Cream. Shanghai City Walk Routes: Xintiandi, Huaihai Middle Road, Nanjing West Road, Zhang Garden, Shimen Road on Nanjing West Road, Jing'an Temple, and Yuyuan Road are the essence of Shanghai city walks. Yu Garden (City God Temple): Visit Yu Garden (City God Temple) in the evening to see the blend of old and new Shanghai. It's very charming. However, the snacks here are overpriced and not very tasty. Yu Garden ticket prices are available on official channels. The best photo spots are the ancient stage and Zigzag Bridge. Note: It's crowded, so be mindful of your safety. Local Treats: Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant's xiaolongbao are famous, but expect long lines. The rice cakes are soft, glutinous, and sweet with a chewy texture, while the crab roe is tender and full. It's hard not to fall in love with it at first bite. Sea Intestine and Oyster Rice When the sea intestine and oyster rice was served, carb lovers couldn't be happier. The sea intestine and oysters each have their own unique flavors, and the rice absorbs the fresh taste of both, making it incredibly delicious. Five-Year-Old Duck Soup Just by looking at the color, you can tell the taste is extraordinary. The soup is clear, the broth is sweet, and the duck meat is firm. Years ago, when I first checked in, to be honest, I wasn't a big fan of Tony Chi's design style. Since then, I haven't stayed at the Park Hyatt Shanghai very often—usually with gaps of over a year and a half between each visit. But it's precisely these intervals that have shaped my appreciation. On the one hand, I've stayed at other hotels designed by Mr. Chi and gradually come to understand and admire his work. On the other hand, each reunion with the Park Hyatt Shanghai brings new feelings. Over time, perhaps in the last two or three years, I've truly fallen in love with it. As a hotel that's been open for over a decade, the Park Hyatt Shanghai does show its age in places. However, thanks to excellent maintenance, its elegant character remains. I've seen plenty of complaints online: outdated facilities, poor service, bad signal... Every stay at the same hotel is like opening a blind box. What others say is just a reference; you have to discover the truth for yourself. At least in my experience, I've never encountered any major issues at the Park Hyatt Shanghai. Instead, there have always been pleasant surprises, like discovering this time that the hotel has switched to new wooden key cards. As for when I'll return, I don't know. I'll leave it to fate. There are always new hotels to explore, but old friends never get old.

Exploring InterContinental Shanghai NECC, the ideal choice for business trips I recently experienced the "InterContinental Shanghai NECC" located within the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, and the overall feeling was quite unique. 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: During this stay, due to the large number of guests, the housekeeping wasn't very timely. I had to contact the service staff multiple times, and the cleaning wasn't the best, perhaps because the staff were simply too busy. However, during normal periods, the hotel's hygiene maintenance is quite good. The rooms and public areas are kept clean and tidy, and the soundproofing is adequate to meet basic needs, providing guests with a relatively quiet resting environment. 🏘️️️Room Type/Layout: The hotel is directly connected to the NECC and is located next to the Hongqiao transportation hub, making its location extremely advantageous. It's incredibly convenient for those coming to Shanghai for conferences, exhibitions, or business trips. I stayed in a Superior Suite, and the room felt very spacious with a reasonable layout. The Deluxe Suites use a lot of solid wood in their wall design, which deepens the overall color tone of the space, giving it a rich texture and a heightened sense of luxury. The floor, like the living room, uses a large area of wooden flooring paired with small area rugs, creating a stylish look. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The public areas continue the grand style of the exterior with a more refined design. The main color is gold, and elements like the metal backdrop behind the front desk create a subtle sense of luxury. The ubiquitous four-leaf clover elements throughout the hotel are quite unique. Although the surrounding amenities aren't particularly abundant, with the commercial district about 2 km away, the hotel's own facilities can basically meet the needs of guests. 💗Other tips: The hotel beds are on the softer side, so those who are used to sleeping on firm beds might experience some back pain. The breakfast selection isn't very extensive, and the taste is average. However, during the exhibition's off-season, there are fewer guests, and the hotel staff's enthusiastic service leaves a deep impression. The package deal that moves the Executive Lounge to the lobby bar and the cuisine at Cai Feng Lou are both worth trying. Also, during the auto show, road closures are extensive, leading to traffic jams, so plan your travel time in advance.
