Eat crabs by the mangrove forest at Tiwtara Restaurant @Trat
Today I had the opportunity to visit Trat. My local friend recommended the restaurant "Tiw Tara".
📍The restaurant is located in Trat town, but you have to drive a bit further because the restaurant is right on the edge of the mangrove forest. You can see the sea, mangrove trees, and many fishing boats parked here. In the evening, there is a service to take a boat to visit the mangrove forest. It's a pity that we went during the holiday season, so we didn't get to take the boat.😅
📍There are many types of food to choose from here. What we ordered were fried fish with fish sauce/sun-dried squid/steamed crab that was already peeled for us, very convenient to eat. It came with delicious seafood sauce/stir-fried seafood with holy basil/sour curry. The taste was delicious, rich, and full of flavor. The seafood was also very fresh.
If you pass by Trat, don't forget to come and eat at "Tiw Tara".🥰❤️

Trat City Pillar Shrine
Trat City Pillar Shrine is located in Bang Phra Subdistrict. This shrine is different from others because the building is built in the style of a Chinese pavilion. The delicate and graceful sculpture is as beautiful as a temple in the land of the dragon. King Taksin ordered it to be built according to Chinese beliefs when he gathered troops to restore independence in Trat to protect Trat from danger and for the people to live in peace and happiness. The City Pillar Shrine is the center of Thai-Chinese relations.
Inside the shrine in the center is the pedestal where the City Pillar Shrine, Sia Ueng Kong, is enshrined, along with two other deities: the left is the God of Fortune, Cai Xing Yea, and the right is the God of Earth, Kam Thiang Dai Ti. The outer part of the City Pillar Shrine is where the two main city pillars are enshrined. The tall pillar is the city pillar and the low pillar is the Shiva lingam pillar.
Location: Bang Phra Subdistrict, Mueang District, Trat Province
Open: Every day from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
