Doi Ang Khang, the edge of Thailand💕
Winter is coming soon. For those who come to Chiang Mai, in addition to Mon Cham and Chiang Dao, which are popular, there is also Doi Ang Khang, another beautiful mountain in Chiang Mai Province. The sea of fog is dense and can be seen from morning until almost 10 am. Drive a little further and there will be Nor Lae Village, a village on the border of Thailand and Burma. There is a strawberry garden for everyone to pick and eat fresh. And at the end of the year, there is also Thai cherry blossoms.
For those who come to Chiang Mai, don't forget to stop by and visit. 💕

Whether you want to stop by to chill, stay overnight, enjoy the cool breeze, see the towns of Fang-Chai Prakan, or experience the cool weather, either way is a great feeling. 🚗
The road is good, steep in some places, but sedans can drive comfortably ~
The coffee shop will start serving cold menus from October onwards.
During this period, there are only hot menus. ☕️
It's not too hot during the day. At night, you have to bring a jacket to work. Don't forget to bring it.

Strawberry farm Ban Nor Lae, Doi Ang Khang
A strawberry farm that you must not miss when visiting Chiang Mai. This farm belongs to the Royal Project, located in Nor Lae Village. What makes this strawberry farm special and different from other farms is that it is a terraced farm, as wide as the eye can see, similar to the tea plantations that many people are familiar with. Although picking strawberries is prohibited at this farm, the view of the strawberry fields and the mountains in the background, as well as the sea of fog in the morning, make this place look like heaven. #WinterMountainTravel #NorthIsanTeam #SecretLocation

Doi Ang Khang, Chiang Mai — When Cherry Blossoms Bloom🌸
Start your year with a breath of fresh air at Doi Ang Khang, a stunning mountain retreat in Chiang Mai. From late December to early January, this hidden gem bursts into color with Thai cherry blossoms (Nang Phaya Sua Krong) painting the hills pink.
Top Things to See & Do
1. Walk Among Cherry Blossoms — The hills are covered in soft pink petals, giving you the perfect photo spots.
2. Enjoy Cool Winter Vibes — Crisp mountain air with temperatures dropping to the teens (or even lower!) — sweater weather at its best.
3. Catch a Sea of Mist — Wake up early for jaw-dropping sunrise views above the clouds.
4. Visit the Royal Agricultural Station — Explore colorful gardens, fruit orchards, and local hill tribe culture all in one spot.
5. Stay Under the Stars — Whether you camp or book a cozy stay, you’ll love the peaceful mountain nights and clear skies.
📍Address
Doi Ang Khang, Mae Sun, Fang District, Chiang Mai, 50320, Thailand
🕰️Best Time to Visit
Late December to Early January
🗒️Pro Tips
1. Booking a tour is super convenient — they handle everything!
2. I drove with my family to Fang District, then we hired a songthaew (local truck) for the final stretch up the mountain (about 1 hour).
3. Not recommended to drive up yourself — the mountain roads are steep and tricky.
4. Prone to car sickness? Bring motion sickness meds — those curves are no joke!

A must-visit content trip! Doi Ang Khang, Chiang Mai
#Chiang Mai Travel
After driving for just a few hours from Chiang Dao, we arrived at Doi Ang Khang in Fang District. Experience the cold weather, enjoy the mountain view, and the mist to the fullest! 🌄
We chose to stay at Ang Khang Cheing Doi Garden Resort, just 13 km from Doi Ang Khang. This place is perfect for those who bring their mothers to visit (or those who don't like sleeping in tents). The rooms are beautiful and clean. The cold weather at night is 10 degrees, so you can sleep comfortably!
The highlight of this trip was waking up at 5 am to watch the sunrise. The view at Doi Ang Khang is indescribably beautiful. The morning light shines down as a backdrop to the mountains. It's so good that you can't stop pressing the shutter. Content creators can't miss it!
Summary: Full, beautiful view, comfortable sleep, lots of photos to take. Doi Ang Khang is the best for this winter! 🏔️✨

🌸Thai Sakura🌸
A popular place every year that no one gets bored of because everyone wants to come and see the cherry blossoms that bloom at "Doi Ang Khang" or "Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station", which is a place full of pink from cherry blossoms and wild Himalayan cherry blossoms. They bloom all over the mountain. No matter how many years you come or how many times you come, it will be beautiful and impressive every time.
The cherry blossoms here start blooming in December and last until February. But they will be in full bloom and be very beautiful in January of every year. I can tell you that the trees inside the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station are real cherry blossoms that were brought from Japan. They are planted only at the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station.
Opening hours: Open for tourists from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The service fee for maintaining the place is 50 baht per person. If you bring your car in, it is 50 baht per car. Or if you don't bring your car into the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station, you can park in the front yard at the entrance.

The flowers are blooming so cutely. The atmosphere is great, sunny but not hot. It feels like you're abroad. Every corner is photogenic. For those who are interested in going up, don't forget to bring a jacket. I'm telling you it's definitely worth it because there are many cultures for us to see. They change the style of the flowers every season.
