[2025 Thung Wa Stay] Travel Guide for Engtan Resort (Updated May)

Hi guys, I just want to share about my trip backpacking to Satun, Thailand. My trip started from Kuah Jetty, Langkawi to Tammalang Jetty, Satun. We are going to Satun by Ferry RM95/person for return trip. From Satun Jetty we took motorcycle service to the city and took minivan to Lang Ngu station and lastly we took red tuk2 directly to Engthan Resort. It’s look like difficult for you to find the public transportation but don’t worry because the resort also provide the Jetty transfer so you can book the resort package with the service. Engthan Resort is beautiful Resort in Satun because the Resort are located near the River. Have 2 type of room you can choose whether you want to stay in tent or normal room. For our trip we choose tent because the tend close to the river, it’s so beautiful 😍. What is interesting about the Resort is everything they present very well. I’m so impressed with their food decorations, it’s so beautiful like 5 star hotel. The package is so cheap 1700 baht/ person (RM223) for 2 days 1 night and the package including accommodation, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Kayaking, tour to cave and waterfall. This is a must go place for everyone who is looking for a secluded nature getaway. Heal your soul here with your loved ones,have gooooddd Thai meals and go for a kayaking journey (kids friendly) at a very affordable price. Price was RM200/person for glamping tents (sharing outside toilet) and also all-in buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner. It was a short getaway for us and I felt so reliever after coming back from here Definitely one of the best moments for us husband and wife spending our time together before our son is born 💕 #winhkflight
