Let's escape to Phuket 🌊🍹 🍾This is our latest trip to Phuket. We went during the rainy season, which made the sky and the colors in the pictures not as bright and clear. However, we were lucky to book a stay at the Grand Mercure Phuket Patong Resort & Villas. Even though it rained, the resort has a variety of facilities inside, so we were never bored. 🌈We stayed in the Superior Room, which was spacious enough and had a king-size bed in the middle of the room, a sofa for relaxation, and a small but stylish en-suite bathroom with clear glass. However, if you come with friends like us, you can always close the curtains. 🌊The swimming pool here is located in the middle of the resort, and we could even see it from our room. The pool area is super chill with a bar, and on a sunny day, we could sit back, enjoy drinks, and take a dip in the water. It was such a fun and relaxing day. 🍹For party animals like us, we recommend the bar on the opposite side of the lobby. They have a Happy Hour, which is definitely worth checking out. 🥪The breakfast buffet here is fantastic with a wide variety of options to choose from, including Thai food, local Phuket cuisine, dim sum, noodles, and bakery items. Grand Mercure Phuket Patong Resort & Villas If you're looking for a private pool villa, look no further than here! We stayed in a One Bedroom Pool Villa and it was divine. Separated into a bedroom, living room, and bathroom, it was spacious and comfortable. The highlight was definitely the pool - you can relax and soak in the water or open the doors and walk right into the pool. We ordered the Floating Breakfast for our morning meal and it was packed with delicious food. The resort has so many beautiful photo spots, from the pool area to the walkways - you'll be sure to get some amazing shots. For dinner, we ordered the Jewel set, a local Phuket cuisine at the Bubbles restaurant, and it was fantastic. The flavors were rich and delicious. On Fridays, they have the Grand Seafood Buffet which is a real feast for the eyes and stomach! Overall, our 3-day, 2-night stay was truly happy and enjoyable. Booked Grand Mercure Patong for tonight. I emailed the hotel in advance and got a room on the 5th floor. The hotel environment is quite good. It is located on Patong Beach, not far from Jungceylon. The kids also like the swimming pool. The staff will help you arrange a seat for breakfast, which is the best breakfast among these hotels. But I personally think the cost performance is average, but the location and environment are good!

Night market next to hotel) - staff were great - stunning hotel architecture - comfortable room, with tub, windows that can open and ledge to hang wet clothes - tub was deep enough, though could be slighter longer - I believe all rooms have pool view - tv has a wide variety of channels (plus YouTube in built) Cons - shower and tub combi ideal - water pressure a little small (tub takes forever to fill) - water could be hotter - some rooms are quite far from the lobby I would love to visit HK as it boasts both nature and the bustling city within a small area! #winhkflight
