Mipo Beach Train, a romantic train running next to the sea 🚂🌊
#SpringTravel
I rode the Mipo Beach Train from Haeundae Mipo to Songjeong in Busan, and it was so romantic because it ran right next to the ocean! The blue ocean and sky beyond the window, and the slow speed of the train, combined to really heal me.
The interior of the train was clean, and if you sit on the ocean side seat, you can enjoy the wide open view, so it's great for taking pictures. You can also get off at pretty stations like Cheongsapo or Gudeokpo in the middle, take a short walk, or stop by a cafe before getting back on, so it's great for planning your course.
I highly recommend the Mipo Beach Train to those who want to enjoy Busan's coastline lightly! It was a sentimental train that would suit anyone, whether they're a couple, a family, or a solo traveler. 😊💕

Haeundae Blue Line Park Sky Capsule & Coast Train
🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: Up to four people can ride in one capsule. In the capsule, we enjoyed the scenery along the coast while eating snacks and drinking drinks. We got on after 3pm, and we were able to see a little bit of the sunset, so we had a great time. We took the Sky Capsule from Mipo and the coastal train from Cheongsapo on the way back. 💞Reasons why we recommend it: My kids were very happy. It was a two-day trip, but we made good memories by going here. Also, the station staff at both stations were smiling and very kind. 🗓️Itinerary management: I made a reservation through the website while I was in Japan. There is a place to enter your phone number, but you don't need to enter it, so I was able to make a reservation. #Korea #SeasonalPlaces #KoreaTravelInformation #KoreaTourism #Haeundae #HaeundaeBlueLinePark #HaeundaeSkyCapsule #SkyCapsule #CoastalTrain #SeasideScenery #BeachTrain

Ditch the sky capsule: Why this Busan Haeundae Park Steals the Show
We decided to mix things up on our recent visit to Busan, taking the sky capsule one way and then embarking on a scenic walk back. In hindsight, it was the perfect decision. The sky capsule ride, while offering some stunning views, was slow and uneventful. We found ourselves itching for something more.
That's exactly what we got on our return journey. The walk back was nothing short of breathtaking. With the freedom to set our own pace, we made stops at every viewpoint, bridge, and scenic overlook, snapping photos and soaking up the natural beauty of our surroundings.
In contrast to the sedate sky capsule ride, our walk back was an exhilarating adventure that left us feeling invigorated and inspired. If you're planning a visit to Busan, we highly recommend ditching the sky capsule for the return journey and opting for this stunning walk instead.

The park has become a popular destination for both tourists and locals, providing ample opportunities for leisure activities such as walking, cycling, and enjoying the seaside environment.
**History:**
The development of Haeundae Blueline Park, including the Mipo Station area, is part of a broader initiative to enhance Busan's coastal infrastructure and promote tourism. The park was established along the former railway line that connected Busan to other regions, which was decommissioned as part of the modernization of the city’s transport network.

The park was officially opened to the public in 2020 and has since become a symbol of Busan's commitment to sustainable urban development and environmental preservation.

Catching sunsets at Haeundae, Busan
#newyearnewtrip
The famous sky capsules in Busan is a mandatory stop if you make a trip down to this beach side city. At Mipo station there is a little two storey cafe that allows you to sit right by the tracks, allowing you to fully enjoy the coming and goings of the capsules in your background. If you manage to snag the coveted capsule tickets during sunset, make sure to go slightly earlier as there will be a queue to board and you don’t want to miss the sunset while waiting in the queue!
We got the package of sky capsule as well as unlimited beach train. We took the beach train from mipo up to song Jeong and made stops on the way back to cheongsapo then took the sky capsule from Cheongsapo-ro back to mipo. I would strongly recommend this route as I felt like I truly managed to explored the whole area fully.

Tried Local Breakfast in Busan- So Good!
#goingplaces
📍미보역전 가락국수, Mipo, Busan, South Korea
Visited this cute and cozy eatery serving Korean traditional food for breakfast while travelling to Busan and we had a feast! The eatery is small and cozy, might not fit large groups of visiting patrons. A lot of locals visited for breakfast as well (both dine in and take outs) during our visit. They offer a wide selection of food for such soup noodles, gimbap, toppoki and more! They also have a cute little stall selling fried stuffs! We ordered 4 dishes in total which were cold bean noodles, gimbap, Korean traditional noodles and fried garak noodles. Verdict: all of the dishes served was unique and deliciously good! My favourites were the gimbap and cold bean noodles! Cold bean noodles was something unique for me, the soup was soy bean based, very nutty and surprisingly paired really well with the noodles! This is your choice of meal if you are looking for something refreshing!
