Huai Luang Waterfall
Phu Chong Na Yoi National Park
🏞️🏞️🏞️
.. Located in Buntharik District, Na Chaluai District and Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, bordering Laos and Cambodia, it has been declared the 53rd national park in Thailand.
.. Phu Chong Na Yoi comes from two words: Phu Chong and Na Yoi. The word Phu Chong means a mountain with a dense number of Chong trees, which in the northeastern region are called Mak Chong and in the central region are called Ton Samrong. The word Na Yoi is a distortion of the word Nam Yoi. In summary, Phu Chong Na Yoi National Park means a mountain with a lot of Samrong trees and water flowing down the cliffs of the river in the park.
.. Traveling from Ubon Ratchathani city to the park takes about 2 hours. It is recommended to come early in the morning and not after 3 pm because it starts to get dark early during this time.

Late rainy season, early winter travel destinations in Ubon Ratchathani
💦Huai Luang Waterfall💦
A famous waterfall in Ubon Ratchathani Province, located in Phu Chong Na Yoi National Park, Na Chaluai District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. Locals call it "Bak Tew Waterfall".
There are 273 steps down.
Each steep section has a resting point and a photo spot to view the scenery according to the height. Anyone who comes here will not be disappointed.
When we went, it was early November. The water level was just right, not too scary. The water was cool and refreshing, and the water was clear enough to see the fish. We went at 3:00 p.m., so the weather was not hot.
💢I recommend that anyone who is going to visit prepare their body.
Bring soft drinks, drinking water, and wear shoes with treads.
⏰Open 08.00-16.30. You can play in the water. Stay in the designated area until 17.30. There will be officers to check tourists and blow whistles until the end of the time. Set up because if it gets dark, it will be dangerous.
💰Park entrance fee: Adults 40 baht, children 20 baht
🚙There are many parking lots. The staff gave good advice

Beautiful waterfall
It is a beautiful waterfall and the water is very cold. When you go down, it is very refreshing, but when you go up, it is clearly hell.

Huai Luang Waterfall, the largest waterfall in the lower northeastern region
Huai Luang Waterfall is located in Phu Chong Na Yoi National Park (Phu Chong-Na-Yoi), which is a forest rift covering the border area of 3 districts: Buntharik, Na Chaluai, and Nam Yuen, Ubon Ratchathani Province. It also borders Laos and Cambodia. The waterfall is about 40 meters high and should be the largest waterfall in the lower Isan region. It has water all year round, but the most beautiful time is the rainy season, especially from August onwards until October. This period is also a good opportunity to invite friends to visit Huai Luang Waterfall. 💦🌳 #TravelIsan #HuaiLuangWaterfall #HuaiLuangWaterfall #TravelUbon
