Business Travel Choice in Bangkok
The newly opened Hyatt Place in January 2025 is located in Sukhumvit Soi 1, about a 15-minute walk to BTS Phloen Chit station, directly connected to Central Embassy, Erawan Shrine, and other commercial areas. The surrounding area is packed with snack shops, three convenience stores, and Thai massage parlors.
It is about 1.5 kilometers from Nana Night Market, a 10-minute ride by BTS or Grab, making it suitable for travelers who love to explore.
This time, I stayed in a standard room of about 28-32㎡, with a simple business style, comfortable bedding, good sound insulation, a small sofa area, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a view of the city streets. The Wi-Fi speed is smooth, the bathroom amenities are complete, and the mini-fridge and safe are standard, with sockets compatible with international voltage.
The hotel has a small infinity pool on the tenth floor (open until 20:00). The view is ordinary, but it's good for taking photos when there are few people. The 24-hour gym has basic equipment that is sufficient.
The staff speaks fluent English, the check-in efficiency is high, and the service is very attentive, trying to meet any needs.
A 1-minute walk to 7-11, and there are affordable Thai food stalls at the alley entrance where you can try fish ball noodles or basil minced pork rice.
The hotel does not offer shuttle service, and the pool is relatively small. It is suitable for budget-conscious travelers who value convenient transportation, enjoying the convenience of the core area of Sukhumvit at a mid-range price. For those seeking a luxurious experience or long-term stay, it is recommended to choose a higher-end brand.
