Japanese Village, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
The Japanese Village in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya is a museum established by the Thai-Japanese Association. It serves as a learning center about the establishment of the Japanese village during the Ayutthaya period. The entrance fee is 50 Baht. Starting at the museum building, the interior is air-conditioned and offers a mixed presentation, including videos, nautical maps, Japanese artifacts, the construction of the village by Japanese and foreigners during the Ayutthaya period, and Thai-Japanese relations. Outside, there is a Japanese garden and a replica boat used for travel to Ayutthaya. The garden is shaded by large trees and has a cool breeze as it is located next to the Chao Phraya River. For those who want to wear a yukata, there is a rental service inside the museum building.
