Kaeng Sapue is a rocky rapid in the middle of the Mun River in Phibun Mangsahan District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. Every year during the dry season, from January to May, we will see the rocky rapids that were submerged in the river, rising above the water. This has turned the place into a place for locals and tourists to relax and unwind. ⛰️🏝️
This rocky rapid is similar to Sam Phan Bok because during the flood season, the rocky rapids are submerged and eroded by the whirlpools, creating various pools. They emerge during the dry season. Around Kaeng Sapue, there are public parks, shops, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Of course, tourists come here to play in the water and enjoy the beautiful view. #VisitUbon #KaengSapue

Kaeng Sapue
Kaeng Sapue is a beautiful rapids in the Mun River, located in Phibun Mangsahan District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The original name of Kaeng Sapue was a distorted word from "Sampuet" or "Sampuet", which is a Suai language word meaning "big snake" or "Kaeng Sapue python". When the water in the Mun River dries up in the dry season, the rapids in the Mun River will emerge from the water, becoming a natural wonder in the middle of the Mun River. Tourists can admire the beauty of the rapids that have been eroded by the water until they are indented, seeing artistic images, such as circles, ovals, stars, and many other shapes according to their imagination. There is also a rest pavilion on the edge of Kaeng Sapue. April is the tourist season, and along the edge of Kaeng Sapue there are restaurants and famous shops of Ubon Ratchathani Province. I would like to recommend trying fried bananas, various fried snacks, very delicious and cheap. There are so many souvenirs that you will go bankrupt. If anyone comes to Ubon, please stop by and support them.
