If you stay around Nimmanhaemin or Huay Kaew, you can walk there. It only takes a short while to get there. The shop is decorated in a Lanna style, in a cafe or garden atmosphere. It's nice to sit and there are quite a few tables to accommodate customers. There are a lot of Thai, Chinese, and Western tourists coming to eat. I ordered 3 types of larb khua, fried pork, and 3 types of hang lay curry, 3 plates of rice, 1 soft drink and 1 bottle of water. I paid over 500 baht, which is quite expensive compared to street food. But if you think that this is the price of food in a cafe, it's okay. The Khao Soi menu is around 100 baht, but I didn't try it. Good service, food comes quickly, lots of staff, and they take good care of you. if you're in chiang mai and looking to try out all the hype.. check out kaon soy nimman. the food is pretty good. the kao soy was probably my favorite dish. there is plenty of staff to get you in and out efficiently. food was prompt. place is clean. indoor and our door sitting. the eatery is a michelin star rated restaurant running for the past 4 to 5 years. my favorite part was that it wasn't too expensive.
