One of the highlights of my trip was exploring Koh Kood’s hidden waterfalls. Khlong Chao Waterfall, tucked deep within the jungle, was a true tropical oasis. The short trek through dense greenery led me to a cascading waterfall plunging into a cool natural pool. I couldn’t resist taking a dip in the refreshing water, enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature all around me. To get a feel for local island life, I visited Ao Salad, a charming fishing village on the northeast coast. Wooden houses on stilts lined the waterfront, and colorful fishing boats bobbed in the harbor. I stopped by a small seafood restaurant where I savored freshly grilled prawns and steamed fish with lemongrass, all caught just hours before. The slow, laid-back rhythm of life here was infectious, making me appreciate the simple pleasures of island living. As the sun began to set, I made my way to Bang Bao Bay, a secluded cove known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs.
