April welcomes the hottest time of the year with the Thai summer. I stayed at two hotels in Bangkok, and the vibe at Kimpton was really chill~ The location is quite good, in the embassy district. Close to the BTS and Siam Square. Lumphini Park's greenery acts like a natural barrier, isolating the hotel from the outside hustle and bustle, hidden in this greenery, quiet and beautiful. The hotel is also pet-friendly🐶, in the lobby and bar you can see all kinds of cute little ones, so adorable😍. The check-in counter is adorned with bird-of-paradise flowers, which really captures that free and easy Kimpton style. The bathroom🛀 is super big! The floor-to-ceiling window view also allows you to see the opposite Kempinski and lots of greenery. The main design tone of the room is grey, giving a sense of a calm temperament. The welcome fruits and desserts are generous in quantity (...) and the handwritten card is indeed very sincere. Happy Hour is from 5 to 6 pm, where you can enjoy complimentary cocktails and snacks at the poolside bar. Dusk is the gentlest time in Bangkok, not too hot or dry, with a light breeze. A refreshing cocktail is enough to make one feel that the day has been well spent. The most impressive part of the hotel for me was the spa treatment. Thai spa and massage are competitive enough, and the competition among hotels is fierce. I've been to many, and Kimpton's spa center ranks in my Top 3. For facial treatments, they even use my favorite brand BIOLOGIQUE RECHERCHE. I didn't have time for a facial this time, but I look forward to coming back again.
