Tracing the history of the era of King Narai
Phra Narai Ratchaniwet is an ancient palace from the Ayutthaya period that is important and has historical value. The architecture reflects the highest prosperity of Lopburi during the reign of King Narai the Great. The area inside the palace is divided into 3 areas: the outer palace area, the middle palace area, and the inner palace area.
Inside the museum, exhibits stories from the prehistoric period in the central region of the Chao Phraya River basin, approximately 3,500-4,000 years ago, antiques found from excavations at archaeological sites in Lopburi Province, as well as the civilization of the Chao Phraya River basin, evidence of historical art from various eras. Phra Thinang Chan Phisan is the royal audience hall for ministerial meetings during the reign of King Narai the Great.
