Previously, I saw a review that there was a new restaurant opening in Khao Yai. After looking at the pictures, I thought that this restaurant was really beautiful. I thought that if I went to Khao Yai, I would stop by. And then the day that we went to Khao Yai came, so we chose to go to Lamaya in the evening, around 5 pm. We got both atmospheres: bright and dark. When it was bright, I thought it was beautiful, but when it got dark and the lights were on, it was even more beautiful. The restaurant is very well decorated. Every detail is really taken care of. I like every corner of the restaurant. The decoration is outstanding. I have to say that this restaurant is the best. As for the food, when we opened the menu, we were a little shocked by the price. If you are on a tight budget, please step back. But if you have some, you can stop by. When it comes to the taste of the food, it is okay. It is quite good. Coming to this restaurant, I think that coming to enjoy the atmosphere is the most worthwhile thing. When we went, they gave us coins to play the claw machine. But we couldn't pick it up ourselves, what a pity! The weather was nice, so the two of us went to sleep in Khao Yai for two nights...it had been a long time since we last visited. Khao Yai had changed a lot. Restaurants, coffee shops, luxury accommodations, both condos and resorts, were popping up like mushrooms to welcome tourists who flocked to see the flower gardens, which were like gardens in Japan, but not in Korat. After visiting, you must stop by to pay homage to the Buddha and ask for blessings. There is a large statue of Luang Pu Thuat here for you to pay homage to and ask for blessings for a good life. Lamaya KhaoYai is located in front of Lacol Khaoyai Hotel. We drove past and saw a beautiful and distinctive Bali-style bamboo dome. It felt like there was a pull that made us stop by. We came for dinner on a weekday. We parked in front of the shop. The receptionist informed us that the food and drinks are served with a minimum spend of 500 baht per person. If you don’t spend that much or just want to watch the show, there is a 100 baht entrance fee. We were shocked for a moment and asked to open the menu first. We scanned it briefly. There were 2 of us and ordered 2 dishes. It was definitely more than that. The price was amazing. Plus, it wasn’t even a net price. The interior of the shop is beautifully decorated. It’s no wonder they charge an entrance fee. They go into every detail. It’s very neat. There’s a large statue in the middle with stairs to climb up and take pictures. There are several seating areas. The lower floor is air-conditioned, while the upper floor is open-air, like a balcony where you can clearly see the statue. On weekdays, the show starts at 7:00 p.m. It’s a flashing light show like being in a pub. The length is about 5 minutes. On holidays, there will be an additional fire baton dance show. We ordered the Avocado Crab Salad (520฿++). When the avocado ran out, we replaced it with cantaloupe. It was delicious and refreshing. Stir-fried Seafood with Chili and Garlic (590฿++) had shrimp, squid, and New Zealand mussels, served with 2 pieces of toasted bread.
