👋🏻 Hello friends ... Trip members. This age, Gammy would like to invite friends to make merit and worship Buddha. It's not far from Bangkok. The destination is Wat Luang Pho Sothon.
🙏🏻 Pray for a blessing, no matter how many times you come, it will be successful. The temple and the great hall have been renovated, painted gray, looking very elegant and beautiful. You can bring your own flowers and offerings. The temple is clean and tidy.
🍝 In front of the temple, there is a market selling many things and food.
🚖 Parking is convenient and free.

Worship at Luang Pho Sothon Temple
In late December 2023, I came to pay homage to the Buddha at #Wat Luang Pho Sothon #Chachoengsao Province to fulfill my vow for my career.
I stopped by to eat at a restaurant called #Ruay Ruean Pae. I ordered pork satay, shrimp cakes, stir-fried grouper fish, and squid with lime. The food was delicious, but I ordered squid with lime and eggs, but only got squid with lime.
#Wat Luang Pho Sothon has many people coming to pray and fulfill their vows. Parking might be a bit hard to find, but I recommend parking in the temple's designated parking lot because there are always people coming and going, so there is definitely a parking spot.

Pay homage to Luang Pho Sothon, Chachoengsao Province
#Songkran2024Travel
Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan is located in Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province, or as many people call it "Wat Luang Pho Sothon", which is located on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. The atmosphere of the temple is beautiful, shady, and cool. Inside, there is "Luang Pho Sothon" enshrined in the ordination hall, which is a Buddha statue in the meditation posture, a symbol of the people of Chachoengsao for a long time.
Friends who travel to Chachoengsao Province must visit "Wat Sothon Wararam Worawihan". Friends will be able to see the beauty of the ordination hall, pay homage to Luang Pho Sothon for good luck in life, and sit and enjoy the cool breeze while enjoying the view of the Bang Pakong River. We ourselves had the opportunity to visit and pay homage and ask for blessings, and felt very peaceful, cool, and happy in both body and mind. It helped us to be calmer, not to think distractedly, and also helped us to be mindful in our lives. When we paid homage to Luang Pho, we felt comfortable and relieved of various worries. Moreover, we felt goosebumps, perhaps because we learned about the legend of the origin of Luang Pho Sothon. Finally, if you would like to recommend this sacred temple to your loved ones to visit, you can share this article. #Travel to Paet Riew #Worship and ask for blessings #Worship near Bangkok #Chachoengsao

Sothon Wararam Worawihan Temple
Originally named Wat Hong, it was built in the late Ayutthaya period during the reign of King Narai the Great. It is the home of Luang Pho Phutthasothon, the city’s sacred Buddha image of Chachoengsao. It is a stucco Buddha image in the meditation posture, 1.65 meters wide and 1.98 meters high, made by Lan Chang craftsmen. According to legend, Luang Pho Phutthasothon is a bronze Buddha image in the meditation posture, with a lap width of more than a cubit. It has a very beautiful shape. It performed a miracle by floating in the water and was invited to be enshrined at this temple. However, the monks in the temple were afraid that someone would steal it, so they covered the original image with cement until it looked like it is today. Many people come to pay homage and ask for blessings from him. When they ask for something, they usually make a vow with a boiled egg or offer it to a dancer. When their wish comes true, he is very sacred. Every time we go, it is crowded. But this time we went on Saturday at 4 pm, the temple was about to close, there were fewer people, so it was easy to walk and worship.

Take the train to make merit, save money
Hello, I have something to share with you guys. Let me explain first. My boyfriend and I love to travel a lot. I am from upcountry and have never taken a train before. So, my boyfriend invited me to take the train to make merit nearby so that I could experience that feeling. So, we talked about going to worship at Chachoengsao. We got on the train at the starting point, the train station (Hua Lamphong). The train ticket cost 13 baht!! 🚂 (ordinary electric train). I recommend checking the bus schedule first because the trains leave in turns. The time we got on was 8:00 a.m. ⏰ We arrived in Chachoengsao around 9:00 a.m. and when we walked out of the station, there were yellow songthaews waiting to go to Wat Luang Pho Sothon or other places. It costs 10 baht per adult for the entire route. Then, we made merit and worshiped at the temple. We might stop to buy souvenirs, have a meal (I personally think it is expensive and not very tasty) or buy lottery tickets. 555' Then, we walked a little past the ATM, waited for the songthaew, and noticed that a little past the roundabout on the left, there was a Pak Mo noodle shop. This shop is good and delicious. I recommend it. My boyfriend and I ordered 3 dishes: boat noodles, Pak Mo noodles. You can choose the Pak Mo filling. Grilled pork neck rice + the restaurant's special dipping sauce and 1 bottle of water, only 160 baht (this was for 2 people) 👍🏻 I recommend the grilled pork neck rice, it's good, you have to eat it while it's hot, 10/10. Then we went out to wait for the songthaew in front of the shop, took it back to the train station, bought a ticket back, a real day trip 😂 the kind that goes to nearby places, the total cost for 2 people was 500, there was really change left 💵 compared to driving yourself, it's very economical 👍🏻 #travelchachoengsao #makemeritandworship #peaceofmind
