📣 Let's go visit Mae Klang Waterfall.
Mae Klang Waterfall is a large waterfall located in Doi Inthanon National Park, Chiang Mai Province. It is the most famous waterfall in Chiang Mai Province. The water flows down from a 100-meter-high cliff before flowing into the mountain ravine.
Here!!! There is water flowing all year round, flowing into a large pool below. The source of the water comes from a stream on Doi Inthanon, flowing into Huai Mae Ya above Chom Thong District, and then meeting the Ping River on the east. The waterfall area is shady with various trees. The best time to visit is from late October to March because the water flows not too fast and is not too murky. There is a parking lot below, a restaurant, a grocery store, a souvenir shop, and a restroom.

Super chic travel plan, Chom Thong, Chiang Mai ⛰️
📍 Phra Maha That Naphamethanidon
The highest natural park, these pagodas are a resting point. This pagoda is located between Kiew Tae Pan and the Doi Inthanon viewpoint. It is a pair of pagodas of the royal power of King Rama IX and the Queen. There are 2 pagodas on 2 sides. There are separate stairs and escalators to go up. Around both pagodas, there is a garden, providing a shady atmosphere and a 360-degree view.
📍 Wat Phra That Chom Thong
Wat Phra That Si Chom Thong is the pagoda for people born in the year of the Rat. If you were born in the year of the Rat, come to pay homage to Phra That Si Chom Thong. Inside the temple, there is a place for Buddhists to practice meditation. In the evening, come and see the beauty in another form. The atmosphere at night of Phra That Si Chom Thong. The temple turns on the lights. The colored lights reflect the golden color of the pagoda, which is very beautiful.
📍 Senses Cafe
This cafe in Chom Thong has a striking orange brick building with both indoor and outdoor seating. The shop is airy and comfortable. The shop offers a variety of drinks and bakery items to choose from. There are many photo spots in the shop. For those who are traveling to Chom Thong, I recommend this place.
📍 Mae Klang Waterfall
"Mae Klang Waterfall" is a large waterfall that I can say is one of the most beautiful places in Doi Inthanon National Park, Ban Luang Subdistrict. It is not difficult to get there. Take the same route as we will go to Doi Inthanon. There will be signs along the way. For those who are looking for a place to sit and relax and enjoy the natural atmosphere, I recommend this place.

Mae Klang Waterfall, situated at the foot of Doi Inthanon—Thailand’s highest peak—offers visitors a majestic introduction to the park’s extensive natural beauty.
⭐️As the lowest but easily accessible waterfall on the ascent to the summit, Mae Klang combines ease of access with breathtaking scenery, making it a popular stop for all visitors.
How to go:
A short, easy walk from the eastern entrance of Doi Inthanon National Park leads to Mae Klang Waterfall, which stands about 30 meters tall. The waterfall dramatically tumbles over a broad rock face, continuing downriver in a lively series of rapids and cascades. The path is well-maintained, ensuring that visitors of all abilities can enjoy the stunning views comfortably.

The area around Mae Klang Waterfall is ideal for picnicking and relaxing. The soothing sound of the water and the cool mist provide a refreshing break from Thailand’s warmth. Visitors can unwind near the waterfall’s base or explore the surrounding rapids for a touch of adventure. We had our lunch at a restaurant nearby too. 🍴
Mae Klang Waterfall is a haven for photographers thanks to its expansive, picturesque views and favorable lighting conditions. 📷 We spend some time chilling and taking photo there.
It is suitable as the first or last stop of your trip to Doi Inthanon due to the location.
