This waterfall is considered a highlight of visiting Mae Ping National Park because of the beauty of the Ko Luang waterfall, which is emerald blue, similar to the Emerald Pool. You can see the shallow water that is very clear because you can see the bottom. If you come during the winter, it will be the most beautiful time because there will be a lot of water. When taking pictures, you will see the beautiful waterfall clearly.
You can drive from Chiang Mai. It takes about 3-4 hours. #Waterfall #Lamphun

Koh Luang Waterfall.
Koh Luang Waterfall is distinguished by its beautiful blue-green water, which results from the dissolution of limestone in the water. When sunlight shines and hits the water, it absorbs the red wavelengths, making the water appear blue-green and clear. Within the parking area of Koh Luang Waterfall, there are facilities including restrooms, showers, and shops, which are run by locals. They offer soft drinks, packaged snacks, papaya salad, and grilled chicken, available only during festivals.

Koh Luang Waterfall
Ko Luang Waterfall, Lamphun Province
An emerald-blue waterfall in the middle of Mae Ping National Park, formed by Huai Mae Ko, flowing through a 20-meter-high limestone cliff, cascading down 7 levels, and finally falling into a large pool below.
The path to Ko Luang Waterfall is through shady trees, about 500 meters away. The path is easy and comfortable. Before reaching Ko Luang Waterfall, there is Tad Sator Waterfall, a small limestone waterfall that is just as beautiful.
Tad Sator Waterfall is on the same route as Ko Luang Waterfall, flowing parallel to the footpath and flowing down from a cliff about 15 meters high into an emerald-colored pool. The cliff is made of soft brown limestone, and the water has washed away the limestone, creating a stalactite-like area that looks strange.
There is a camping area near the waterfall. There are restrooms for convenience.
