Mae Pum National Park, Phayao Province
Mae Pum National Park is a natural tourist attraction where tourists like to set up tents, sleep overnight, experience the cold weather on the mountain, and enjoy the beautiful scenery amidst the abundant nature of Phayao Province.
Most of the area is steep mountains, consisting of dry evergreen forests, dry dipterocarp forests, pine forests, and mixed deciduous forests.
The highlight here is Mae Pum Reservoir, which is an important water storage area with an area of approximately 5,000 rai. During January-March of each year, many ducks migrate to live in the Mae Pum Reservoir area. Most tourists like to paddle boats to see the scenery around the reservoir or go hiking to study nature on the provided trails.
In addition, the park also has bungalows and a place to pitch a tent. You can bring your own tent or rent a tent from the park. Inside the park, there are shower rooms, toilets, and a convenience store. Or if you are not sure what products the store sells, You can also bring your own food.
