Suwa Taisha has four shrines: Kamisha Honmiya and Maemiya, Shimosha Harumiya and Akimiya.
Suwa Taisha is a structure called Suwa-zukuri, which does not have a main hall.
It was rebuilt in 1835.
It also has structures designated as important cultural properties by the country, such as the "Yotsuashimon" gate, which is said to have been donated by Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Myojin-yu, where the source of hot spring water flows from the chozuya (purification fountain), is also a must-see!
Speaking of Suwa Taisha, there are four sacred pillars within the grounds, but two of them are in the forest, making them the hardest of the four shrines to find.
