Naga King Satta Nakarat Plaza, Nakhon Phanom 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
📍📍👉🏻🫶🏻Another important tourist attraction in Nakhon Phanom Province, located on the banks of the Mekong River, overlooking the Laos side, with beautiful scenery.
💚The Naga statue is made of brass, over 16 meters high, and is exquisitely beautiful. Near the Naga statue, there are flowers, incense, and candles for worship and sacred objects for worship.
📍Under the Naga statue, there is the history of Nakhon Phanom Province and the history of the creation of the Satta Naga.
👉🏻Nearby is a walking area to enjoy the view and there is a walking street on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On weekdays, there are vendors selling food and drinks.
Nearby buildings, such as 7-Eleven and Big C Mini, are well-built and have been renovated to fit the culture. It is very beautiful and unique. We went for a walk and liked it very much. It is peaceful and slow-life. The people are lovely and we had a great time.

Those born on Wednesday night are said to have good fortune.
“Remember, whoever misunderstands us, if they are friends, stop being friends.” 🙏 Wat Maruk Khanakhon
- Known as the sacred relic of those born on Wednesday at night
- It is a temple with a sacred relic for visitors to visit and pay homage inside the relic. 🙏 They say that “it brings merit”
- Because those who go to pay homage and ask for blessings at Phra That Phanom will not be able to visit inside.
- But those who come to Wat Maruk Khanakhon will be able to visit inside the relic as if we have already entered Phra That Phanom. 🙏 Now that you know, you must not miss it.
- Wat Maruk Khanakhon is located in Ban Don Nang Hong Tha, Tambon Don Nang Hong, Amphoe That Phanom, Nakhon Phanom Province. 🙏 Open 05:30 - 20:00
- Those who come at night at 7 pm, the temple will turn on the lights, but I don’t know if the door of the relic is closed.

Phaya Srisattanakharat Courtyard, Nakhon Phanom.
Phaya Srisattanakharat is a new landmark of Nakhon Phanom Province. It is located on the banks of the Mekong River at Srisattanakharat Courtyard, in front of the Forestry Office on Sunthorn Vijit Road, within the Nakhon Phanom Municipality. This is the largest brass Naga statue, situated at the riverfront dam area where Sunthorn Vijit Road intersects with Nitayo Road. The statue of Phaya Srisattanakharat is a seven-headed Naga, spouting water, with its body and tail coiled. It is cast in brass.
