Atmosphere/facilities: swimming pool, breakfast buffet, shuttle bus, bar, one-day tour itinerary
Features: Quiet, spacious and comfortable, the swimming pool is not big but spacious, the room price is affordable, and the room air conditioning is very strong.
Price: 2,000 baht
Rating: A five-star hotel located in the East Coast Ship Marina and Maintenance Yard below Phuket's famous Heroine Monument. The sign on the side of the road has an obvious rudder shape and it takes less than 5 minutes to drive in. It looks a bit dated from the outside. The lobby is on the second floor, and there is an elevator on the first floor to reach the lobby or floors.
The hall is high and spacious, and there are simple game equipment in the rest area. Walking behind the statue of Poseidon is the restaurant, where breakfast is also served. There is a connecting passage between the restaurant and the lobby to reach the swimming pool. The swimming pool is long and has a children's play area close to the connecting rooms. The deepest swimming pool is 150cm! It is quite comfortable to use. You can get free towels at the bar next to it.
The building has a total of 4 floors. The first floor is the swimming pool and the courtyard. The connecting room should be the most expensive. We stayed in a room on the fourth floor for about 2,000 baht per night. The luggage storage area at the door can be laid flat to open the luggage. The room is very spacious and the air conditioning is very strong. The bathroom is not big and the shower and toilet are separated. The mini bar has a refrigerator and a safe. The TV is of average size but has a smart TV. There is a balcony where you can hang out your swimsuit and a small platform where you can drink coffee.
The sofa and coffee table are of a decent size, and the room is very quiet for sleeping at night. The disadvantage is that the bed is really hard to sleep on, very hard and the quilt makes the whole body itchy.
The breakfast options are okay, everything you need is included. But if you stay for more than two nights, you will probably get tired of it. Personally, I like the freshly cooked boat noodles section and the egg section with some simple vegetables in the lettuce section. Because the dishes in the deli section are either heavy or greasy Western-style meals.
If you like iced coffee, you need to ask the waiter to get some ice cubes and you can have an iced Americano early in the morning.
If you wrote a meal the night before and put it in the refrigerator, you can take it out in the morning and ask the waiter to heat it in the microwave. It is also a good choice to eat it with the staple food and vegetables from the breakfast bar.
This hotel is mainly about resort facilities. The nearby facilities are poor. You need to take a shuttle or walk close to the entrance. There are several small food trucks, a small shopping mall and a supermarket (the supermarket is open until 8 pm). There is a 24-hour 7-11 next to the gas station at the door.
There is also a massage & spa. If you don’t go out, you can buy and eat here and go back to the hotel to enjoy the swimming pool.
The closest place to take a taxi is Premium Outlet Phuket พรีเมี่ยมเอาท์เล็ท ภูเก็ต. It is also a shopping mall. The closest and most comfortable tourist attraction is Phuket Old Town, which takes about 20-25 minutes by Grab. The fare is about 380-460 baht.
