The average tourist will cook Badong Beach, so I didn't expect that Phuket old town is the city center for locals. So this is what the driver's uncle told us, because he thinks more locals live there. So we took an hour's taxi ride from Padang Beach to see Old Town's various colors of Western architecture. and one of the Michelin restaurants are our targets. I didn't expect that the decoration of this restaurant is even in the style of Shanghai in the 1930s, so there are still dozens of old-style radios placed in the restaurant like antiques. So some Thai dishes are very good, I have very high requirements for Phnom Penh Noodles, and here Phnom Penh Noodles, I can definitely give 95 points! The grapefruit shrimp salad is very refreshing, the green curry is full of coconut flavor, and the drink also has Taiwanese elixir milk tea! After eating, you can walk around the fruit shop in Old Town, buy souvenirs and take pictures. The buildings are colorful, look closely, some Western and some Thai! It is a must-visit place to visit Phuket!

One Chun, a Michelin restaurant is one of the highlights of my trip. I read good reviews about this restaurant and was excited to try. It does not disapppoint! We ordered their recommended dishes - pork belly, green curry crab and fish paste with crab meat (basically Otah-otah in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia). The dishes are chockful of flavours and very tasty. Our favourite is definitely the pork belly as the meat is tender, soft and melts in the mouth. Visit this restaurant if you only have half a day at Phuket Old Town. #tripblazers #foodie

One chun has a low reputation in the Phuket restaurant. One chun means Monday in Thai, and many locals and stars will come to eat. fish sauce raw shrimp really won my love, the shrimp is thick and fresh, the taste is smooth and Q, plus the Thai-style dish, can only be used up to describe it. Black pepper fried crab is also very good, crab claw meat is fresh and full, every mouth can eat full of happiness. Classic flavor of pineapple fried rice is also very recommended, rice is separated and the mouth is sweet. The drinks here are also very good, try the butterfly bean lemonade recommended. When the weather is good, you can enjoy the sun in the restaurant by the window, experience the comfort of a Phuket man, and the style of Patong is not the same, it is really comfortable.

The vegetable control has finally met one time~ This pork, the practice is similar to [red meat], after a few days in Phuket, I am sure that the pigs in Thailand are really good, with bowls of rice, fragrant. Been to Old Phuket Town twice for the daytime shopping and once on Sunday for the walking street night market. On both occasions, we went to try the Michelin restaurant and compare their signature braised pork belly dish. The winner is of course One Chun which always has long waiting time during peak hours. Also, another not to miss food item is Thai McDonald's pork burger that uses tender pork chop like skewers Moo Deng. #christmastrip 📍One Chun Café & Restaurant 48, 1 Thep Krasattri Rd, Talat Yai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000, Thailand This is my favourite local meal in Phuket for the entire trip! Located in Phuket Old Town, One Chun has received Michelin Guide recognition from 2019 to 2023! (You can see there are lots of stickers on the door). Wonderful place with delicious local food! Cozy ambiance, crowded but buzzing and lively restaurant. We were there for dinner and the restaurant was (not surprisingly) full-house, but the waiting time was alright, which was around 20minutes! Food was the best I’ve had in Phuket! Some of my favourite dishes were fried grilled pork (very flavourful and all of the flavours burst in your mouth!), prawn tomyam soup and mango sticky rice!
