Enjoy the cool sea breeze and eat delicious seafood.

This coral restaurant is an old restaurant in Bangsaen that has been around for more than 35 years. I have been eating at this restaurant since I was a child because whenever I visit Bangsaen, I always stop by this restaurant. In terms of taste and deliciousness, even though this place has reliable skills, Bangsaen also has many other great restaurants as competitors. What makes this restaurant better than many other restaurants is its spacious atmosphere that can accommodate a lot of customers without having to be crowded. The restaurant is a large raft that extends out into the sea, allowing you to enjoy the breeze and the sea view to the fullest. It is very refreshing. There is also a large parking lot on the opposite side. Therefore, this restaurant is considered a complete restaurant. It is not surprising that it has maintained its reputation all the time.
🍽 Menu ordered
➡️ Grilled squid - Grilled dry, fragrant, the meat is chewy and soft, fun to chew. The seafood sauce is also quite spicy. It is very good, three passes.
➡️ Steamed crab claws - Medium-sized crab claws, good freshness, another dish that is very enjoyable to eat.
➡️ Fried mantis shrimp with garlic - This dish is very good... the best. The mantis shrimp is large, the meat is in chunks, fried with garlic until fragrant. Really awesome, I'm delighted.
➡️ Seafood Salad – It comes with medium-sized shrimps and thick pieces of squid. The flavor of the salad dressing is good, but the squid in this dish is tough and almost hard.
➡️ Seafood Tom Klong – This Tom Klong dish looks and tastes very strange. It comes in a thick, red broth similar to sour curry. The flavor is like a mixture of sour curry and jungle curry. There is a hint of spices or something that reminds me of the smell of ko eeya. It is seasoned very strongly, both spicy, sour and salty. Every flavor is overpowering. So I'm not really impressed. Actually, every time I've been to this restaurant, I always order sour curry with fish eggs, which is always good. This time, I wanted to try tom klong, so I accidentally ordered a dish that I didn't like. I'm not sure if their recipe has always been like this or if the taste has changed after a change in the chef.
➡️ Large Crab Fried Rice – I ate it with rice instead of regular rice. The flavor was average. The crab was in small pieces mixed in the rice like normal.
Overall, if we don’t count the seafood Tom Klong, the other dishes still maintain a good standard. The quality of the ingredients is good, the price is moderate, it’s convenient, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Even though this time, there was Tom Klong that dragged down the grade, but next time I go to Bangsaen, I will definitely stop by here again.
