VISITING PAK KHLONG TALAT.
Pak Khlong Talat (Thai: ปากคลองตลาด, pronounced [pàːk kʰlɔ̄ːŋ tā.làːt]) is a market in Wang Burapha Phirom Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand, that sells flowers, fruits, and vegetables. It is the primary flower market of Bangkok and has been cited as a "place of symbolic value" to Bangkok residents.
It is on Chak Phet Road and adjacent side-streets, close to Memorial Bridge.
Though the market is open 24 hours, it is busiest before dawn, when boats and trucks arrive with flowers from nearby provinces.
Its location by Chao Phraya River near the southern end of Khlong Lot, hence the name 'Pak Khlong Talat', literally means "the market on the mouth of the canal.

i can buy myself flowers
Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market is a place that I like to visit regularly. Whenever I feel tired or bored, I will reward myself with flowers. Because the flowers here are the cheapest in Bangkok, lol. Buying flowers, taking a leisurely walk, stopping by to take pictures to make content, finding something to eat at a nearby cafe, it makes me feel much better. Don't let the holidays pass by without doing anything. It will make life colorful. And don't forget, we can buy flowers for ourselves. #Pak Khlong Talat #Flowers

Flower Market in Bangkok
Flower market. What can be interesting in it? - you can ask. But here, in Bangkok, it became a very famous touristic place. Lots of people come here to enjoy the natural beauty, and admire all kinds of flowers. It’s not a regular flower market. Here people buy flowers for religious purposes, like a tribute to Gods. It’s very interesting how regular flowers become the masterpieces in sellers hands. They make flower bracelets, necklaces, ets.
Like a part of flower market there is a fruit market too. There you can try different kids of fruit. I’m sure you will find lots of unknown fruit there:)
How to get there- subway, Sanam Chai station.

Local life
Bustling local flower and fruit market. Predominantly for temple/shrines. It's great to see a slice of local life and everyone is so friendly. Some bargains to be had too and don't forget to negotiate. When finished can get the bus or the boat

Floral Cafe'
If you don't know where to go, I would like to recommend a very cool flower café in Pak Khlong Talat, "Floral café at Napasorn". The shop is not very big but the decoration is super cute and vintage. When you enter, it's like a different world from the one you just walked on the sidewalk, lol. Inside the shop, there are vases decorating the house. On the 3rd floor, there is a café. The homemade ice cream is very delicious and refreshing. If you are not going to the province, bring your lover to pretend to buy flowers in Pak Khlong and bring them to sip tea and enjoy the view here. It's also great. Let me repeat that it will open at the end of this year.

Pak Khlong Talat & Phutthayotfa Bridge: Classic and Popular Locations
When it comes to flower markets in Bangkok, Pak Khlong Talat is the first place that comes to mind. Known for its fresh flowers, reasonable prices, and central location, it is also close to Phutthayotfa Bridge. This past Valentine's Day, I decided to revisit and take a stroll.
I arrived at the market around 4 PM, which was a perfect time as the sun wasn't too hot. My plan was to spend an hour browsing the flowers and then head to Phutthayotfa Bridge to take photos during the golden hour at around 5 PM. The lighting is beautiful at that time, and there are usually a lot of people as well. If you're interested, I recommend visiting in the late afternoon for the best experience.
🚗: This time, I parked at Wat Liab (opposite Suankularb School). It's just a short walk across the street to Pak Khlong Talat. I parked for 3 hours, and it cost less than 100 baht. It's very convenient and close.

Pak Khlong Talat, from a wholesale market to a pleasant flower shop
#NewYearNewTrip In the past, when talking about Pak Khlong Talat, the image that comes to mind is probably a flower wholesale market with lively vendors. It was like a world for vendors only. But when I went back again, I found that the atmosphere had changed a lot. Each flower shop doesn't just sell flowers by the bunch or by the bundle like before. Instead, the shop is decorated to look more beautiful and inviting to walk around.
Each shop's decoration is unique. Some shops arrange bouquets with chic vases. Some shops have minimalist bouquets or even flower bouquets. Even people who don't come to buy to resell want to stop by and take a look or buy some to take home.
The feeling that I used to think that "only vendors can walk here" has gradually disappeared because many shops have opened to accept general customers. They offer flower bouquet services to order and you can choose flowers individually. This has made Pak Khlong Talat a check-in point for flower lovers and anyone who wants beautiful flowers at an affordable price.

Take a boat to walk around Pak Khlong Talat.
#Travel Plan Sharing Take a boat from Bang Pho area to Phra Nakhon to walk and take pictures around Pak Khlong Talat. It's an easy half-day plan for those who don't have much time but want to change the mood from the usual private car or train.
The plan starts from getting on a boat at Bang Pho Pier, any boat will do, get off at Saphan Phut Pier (fare is around 20 baht). Along the way, you will pass many places, sit and enjoy the view with a cool breeze. Then walk according to the map for about 5 minutes, you will reach Pak Khlong Talat. I just found out there is such an interesting flower shop. End with eating American fried rice at Sweet restaurant, which should be an old restaurant in this area.

เที่ยวเมืองเก่าด้วย GO GO BUS
I would like to tell you a story about my adventure on the GO GO BUS 🚍. We, who have been nicknamed the Lost-Wayers, traveled on ROUTE 2 today.
🚏Getting on the GO GO BUS 🚏
-We arrived at the MRT Sam Yot station at 5:26 p.m. and walked out through Exit 3 on Unakarn Road.
-After walking out, turn right. There will be a prominent GO GO BUS sign that will guide us all the way to the bus stop where we are waiting to board.
-We arrived at the bus stop at 5:28 p.m., read the details on the sign, and saw a QR CODE to scan and follow to see where the bus is now. This made me feel amazed. The app said that the bus would arrive at Sam Yot station in 2 minutes.
-The bus arrived at 5:31 p.m., which was only 1 minute later than the app said. It didn't matter to us. The accurate rate is perfect. You can trust the app.
-And then the bus left at 17.32.
🚌Inside the GO GO BUS🚌
🌬️The air conditioning in the bus was cool and comfortable. The air inside the bus was very different from outside the bus.
📢When we arrived at the new station, there were announcements in both Thai and English, covering all users.
📺There was a smart TV that told us which station we were at and where we were going, including a map showing where Line 1 and Line 2 stopped. This was very clear. We closed the map saved on our phone and looked at the big map in front of us instead.
🚮On the floor of the new bus, it was modern, clean, and had no trash at all. Forget about the old buses with pieces of chewing gum.
⛪While driving, we passed many temples. The view outside was pleasant.
💵Most importantly, it was free.
In conclusion, we didn't get lost!!!
Reviews from real first-time users like us feel that the GO GO BUS system is designed to be easy to understand, easy to use, and extremely convenient. Another thing is that we were lucky to get off the MRT station and then get on the GO GO BUS right away. If you are in Sam Yot And if the bus goes to Sanam Chai, we may choose other transportation methods instead. So I would like you to check the location of GO GO BUS at that time to plan your trip periodically.
Lastly, if anyone is interested in taking the GO GO BUS,
you can follow more information at Mayday.
The bus is available from today until February 23, 2025.
Time 11.00 - 21.00 hrs.

I was enchanted by the kaleidoscope of colors and sweet fragrances at Pak Khlong Talat, Bangkok's iconic flower market! The vendors' warm smiles and lively chatter added to the market's energetic atmosphere. Enjoy the view of the Chao Phraya River and visit Pak Khlong Talat.
The Chao Phraya Skywalk, also known as the "Phra Pok Klao Skywalk," is one of the new viewpoints you must experience. This bridge connects the Phra Nakhon area with Khlong San. It is easy and safe to walk on, offering a panoramic view of the Chao Phraya River, especially during the romantic sunset in the evening. Additionally, there is a cool breeze throughout the walk.
At the end of the bridge on the Phra Nakhon side, you will reach Pak Khlong Talat, a vibrant flower market open 24 hours a day. As you walk in, you will encounter a variety of colorful flowers, from fresh flowers and bouquets to floral decorations. You can also enjoy the refreshing light fragrance of fresh flowers.
For those who love strolling and taking photos or finding beautiful spots to update their social media, this area is perfect. Both the bridge and the market uniquely blend modernity with traditional culture.
Recommendations:
- The evening is the best time to walk the bridge because of the beautiful view and pleasant weather.
- Stop by to buy fresh flowers or small bouquets from the market as a souvenir. They are both beautiful and reasonably priced.
If you are looking for a relaxing place to stroll, enjoy the river view, and experience the charm of city life, the Chao Phraya Skywalk and Pak Khlong Talat are must-visit spots!

My first solo travel experience
I'm so lonely. Traveling alone is a time that makes me reflect on life. I can do whatever I want. It's fun, but a little lonely. Once in my life, I have to try traveling alone. ❤️ I really like flowers, so I went to Pak Khlong. All the flowers are so cute. I can't choose because they're all beautiful.

Stepping into Floral Paradise at Pak Khlong Talat
#thailandtrip This fresh flower wholesale market (at Jakkrapet Road, Bangkok 10200 Thailand) perfumes the streets with delightful floral scent. There is also a dedicated section for flowers used for worship. The variety of flowers is amazing, hence it’s without a doubt the largest wholesale flower market in Bangkok. The best part it’s open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. My tip is to go close to sunset and head towards Memorial Bridge and Chao Phraya Sky Park, where not only you witness the majestic sunset meeting the surface of Chao Phraya River, but also people taking pictures with flowers in their arms. This is indeed a floral paradise to be experienced in Bangkok!

Songkran: floral garlands of respect
#songkran2024
During Songkran, many pay respects to the Buddhas and also elders of their family.
To honor elders, locals often gift garlands such as these ones at Yodpiman Floral Market that I sighted. There were a wide variety available on sale but the more common varieties definitely include jasmines, white champacas, roses and orchids and are a fragrant addition. They can be taken as offerings to the buddhas too!
Buy a garland to support a local merchant today!
And you can check out the numerous florists and a cafe in the area - I went to Floral Cafe at Napasorn for some yummy food
This area is best reached via ferry - from Rajinee station take a quick walk of 3-5 min

Many people like to come to make content at Saphan Phut. It's very beautiful.

5 angles 📸 to take beautiful photos at Pak Khlong Talat 💐
Pak Khlong Talat is very popular these days. Everyone goes there holding a bouquet of flowers and taking pictures with Phutthamonthon Bridge. Even Lisa went shopping at Pak Khlong Talat. So amazing! 😍 It’s a mistake if you don’t go there. Today, we’ll recommend some photo spots that we’ve pinned and liked. If you have plans to go, save them as references. We’ve chosen every angle that’s great! 😊 1️⃣ By the roadside and the flower garden in front of the Bangkok Land Office. From this angle, you can see cute colorful buildings and a corner where flowers are planted. We sat there holding flowers and taking pictures and we loved it. It’s a unique angle! 2️⃣ In front of the Rose shop, the light is very beautiful because there are red neon lights in front of them. The pictures taken here come out really nice. 3️⃣ In front of various flower shops. *We recommend asking for permission before taking pictures.* So as not to disturb other vendors and customers. 😊 4️⃣ Phutthamonthon Bridge. This angle is a must-see for anyone who goes there. You can get good shots from both the way to Phutthamonthon Bridge and right at Phutthamonthon Bridge. We got a lot of pictures from this angle! 😍 5️⃣ By the roadside by the light pole, near the Wat Lieb post office. On the opposite side, you can see the temple as a background. This angle is just as amazing! Plus, we were lucky enough to get a shot of the bird flying. I loved it so much! 💐We went around 4-5pm, the light was beautiful and it wasn't hot either. 💖Tip: I recommend choosing a flower color that matches your outfit. The photos will come out in a very controlled tone.😚

Soy milk in the back of a car, Charoen Rat Bridge
Soy milk with no shop name, found it near Pak Khlong Talat, near Saphan Charoen Rat, near Siew Long shop.
There are many prices, 12, 20, 50.
I tried the cold one, small size 12 baht, medium bottle 20, about 500 ml, large bottle 50, about 1 liter.
There are both hot and cold ones. You can add toppings like red beans, lotus seeds, lotus seeds as you like. The soy milk tastes rich, very soybean, not too sweet, perfectly delicious.
If anyone passes by, try it. The uncle and auntie are very kind.

Bangkok's small attractions: Pai Khun Flower Market
Talat Pak Klong) Tourists are still relatively few, most of them are locals, and they like this original feeling. It is more interesting than those markets that are only for tourists. The largest flower wholesale market in Bangkok is said to be open 24 hours. A variety of flowers are placed in different containers, sold by bundles, sold by bags, sold by barrels, and feel like visiting a large garden. There is also a fresh market close to the flower market, which can be visited together.

Many people in Bangkok choose to go to the night market, but! Ignore a beautiful flower market on the Chao Phraya River! ! The flowers are fresh and cheap! ! RMB five dollars a rose, ten dollars a sunflower! Not only can you spread flowers and you can take a lot of photos! ! !
This is a local 24-hour flower wholesale market, from dawn to midnight, because the market is large and surrounded by flowers, it is called "one of the nine most beautiful flowers in the world".
Because many open-air markets are not open during the day, so if you are bored during the day, come here and take a look at the ocean of flowers.
