Xin Kee Roasted Duck Prachak, street food on Shilongjun Road in Bangkok
I walked around #石龙军路 early in the morning and wanted to eat #PrinceCinema Pork Porridge to warm my stomach, but it didn’t open! Thinking that I just passed #新记 roast duck, let’s have roast pork for breakfast!
It has a small facade, a deep interior, and a standard old house layout. The dining environment on the first floor is crowded, but when you go up to the second floor, it becomes spacious, bright and air-conditioned, which is great.
I ordered the Roast Duck and Roasted Pork Pair, which costs 80 baht for a small portion. You can also order it without the fragrant rice and have it with wontons or noodles. When it was served, I thought it looked average, but after one bite, it was really delicious!
The salty and sweet sauce is very Tainan-style. The meat is quite tender and moist but not dry. The fragrant rice topped with the sauce is a perfect match. I finished it in a few seconds.
The snacks served in the queue at Shilongjun all have several brushes, which are very suitable for Taiwanese tastes. You can order small portions and eat from several restaurants, and don’t mind too much about the dining environment, so that you can enjoy your meal. After all, it is street food!
