📌Phra Viharn Mountain - Pha Mor I Daeng📸 Sisaket Province
From the long-standing conflict on the Thai-Cambodian disputed land, but we won't talk about that🧐
Let's admire the beauty of nature and the traces of civilization that mankind has left behind😘
Pha Mor E Daeng is located in Khao Phra Wihan National Park, Sao Thong Chai Subdistrict, Kantharalak District, Si Sa Ket Province. It is a steep cliff separating Thailand and Cambodia. Pha Mor E Daeng has ancient bas-relief carvings that are over 1,500 years old. It is assumed that it was built before the Preah Vihear Temple, around the middle of the 11th century. It is another unseen Thailand.
To visit the Pha Mor E Daeng viewpoint to get the atmosphere, you should come early in the morning and arrive at the park around 6 am because the sun here rises very early. When you arrive at the park, pay the entrance fee. Pha Mor E Daeng can park your car in the parking lot. Then walk about 200 meters and you will find a viewpoint with many points to stop and take pictures. You can see the scenery of Cambodia below in a wide angle.
Some points have signs for viewpoints with different names.
Walk a little further and you will find a wooden walkway along the cliff for about 200 meters to walk down to see the bas-relief carvings. Currently, there is an iron cage door to prevent people from writing on the photography area. However, there is a small hole for taking a lens to take pictures. The stone carvings are beautiful and magical. The bas-relief carvings on the stone slabs are the images of Shiva, Uma, and Narayana in Cambodian costumes. They were built before Preah Vihear Temple, around the middle of the 11th century, approximately 1,500 years ago. At the highest point of Pha Mor E Daeng, you can clearly see the view of Preah Vihear Temple. You can just stand and look from afar. One day, there will probably be no barbed wire to prevent us from meeting. Pha Mor E Daeng, Khao Phra Wihan National Park, is open for visits from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tourists can stay overnight in both the houses and tents, or stay overnight at the resorts located near Pha Mor E Daeng. The prices are reasonable.
There are many places to go in Thailand. It may be a long drive, but you will gain many new experiences. 🐾🐈
