3 days 2 nights Krabi trip, 4 islands tour, Talay Waek We flew from Bangkok at 9 am to Krabi, it took only a little over 1 hour and took a bus from the airport to Ao Nang and dropped us off at the hotel, super convenient 💼🌴 On the first day, it rained all day 🥲 but we didn't worry, we just waited for the next day, praying for lots of sun🙏 On the second day, the sky brightened up a bit and we weren't disappointed! 🌞 We went on a tour of the 4 islands, Talay Waek. We spend the day exploring four different islands off the coast of Krabi with a private longtail boat charter. The departure starts at Ao Nam Mao to Chicken Island, Poda Island, Thaleh Waek, and Phra Nang Cave. Before you board into a boat you have to pay 200 Baht as entrance fee at National Park. Total show-offs, in the best way. We pulled up on a longtail boat, and the beach looked like a scene straight outta a movie. It’s got this relaxed, dreamy energy but still feels alive with people swimming, kayaking, and snapping pics. And omg, there’s even a cave shrine (yup, the Phra Nang Cave) with a bunch of offerings that make you go “wait, what?!” It’s a little wild, a little spiritual, and totally worth checking out.
