Phu Laen Kha National Park, a tourist attraction in Chaiyaphum, is a unique natural treasure. It is home to a group of ancient rocks such as Mor Hin Khao and a beautiful viewpoint like Pha Hua Nak. It offers an experience of trekking, camping and watching the sunset.
Phu Laen Kha National Park covers an area of 125,312 rai and covers 5 districts of Chaiyaphum Province: Kaset Sombun District, Nong Bua Daeng District, Kaeng Kho District, Mueang Chaiyaphum District and Ban Khao District. The general terrain is a complex of mountains and plateaus because it is in the Phu Laen Kha, Phu Khiao and Phu Kham Noi mountain ranges. Many people have probably heard of Mor Hin Khao, a group of ancient white rocks that has been dubbed the "Stonehenge of Thailand" to some extent. It can be said to be the symbol of Phu Laen Kha National Park. This rock garden is formed from the accumulation of sand and clay sediments that have hardened into 5 strangely shaped stone pillars. Walk a little further and you will find the Himalayas group, which has different shapes all over the area, becoming unique and beautiful natural sculptures.
Enjoy the beautiful view at Pha Hua Nak, a rock cliff that looks like the head of a Naga protruding from the mountain. It is a viewpoint where you can see the endless scenery of the forest, towns and mountains. It is also a point to see the sea of mist during the rainy season and the rainy season, which is very beautiful. Everyone must come to take pictures and check in here. In addition, there are many other tourist attractions such as Phu Laen Kha Viewpoint, Pha Kluai Mai, Hin Prasat and Namtok Phan Thong.
For those who love hiking, seeing nature and exploring various creatures, there are 3 hiking trails here: Yo Pa Nature Trail, approximately 1.8 kilometers long, Lang Fai Nature Trail, approximately 1.2 kilometers long, and Pha Kluai Mai-Hin Prasat-Hin Pratu Klong Nature Trail, approximately 3.3 kilometers long.
