I had the opportunity to visit Poda Island in Krabi on Mother's Day. I traveled with a tour that took us to four islands. It rained a bit, but it didn't diminish the beauty of the place at all. On the island, there are vendors selling som tam (papaya salad) and other made-to-order dishes. However, for soft drinks, snacks, and ice cream, it's better to bring your own from the mainland because the prices here are much higher. Overall, the views are beautiful and the restrooms are convenient.

However, it's quite rare to see such a large boulder emerging from the vast ocean. The hills along the island's coast are extensions of limestone, forming steep cliffs. The erosion by the waves may create caves, and the beach is home to unique 'dwarf trees'. Surprisingly, there are a few red flowers, and the island's only small pavilion sells a few beverages. This 'SHOP' is probably set up only because there are tourists.

#krabitrip We went on a sunset cruise in Krabi Thailand and it was such an amazing trip! It was a 4 hour trip, departing from Marina Port. The cruise was huge, and was able to fit a good number of travellers! There were a few seating areas, both indoor with air conditioners and outdoor seatings. There were also cushions at the deck! It was such a relaxing and chill trip out to the sea, we truly enjoyed the beauty of Krabi and the sea breeze. We managed to see a few islands and sights like Chicken Island, Poda Island, Phranang Cave at Railay Beach! Food was amazing, we had pad Thai, fruits, chicken skewers! The crew was also very helpful and friendly! Besides, they stopped the cruise at one of the spots and we got to kayak and snorkel for a bit! It was an amazing cruise ride in Krabi and I would love to do it again!
