Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park
Located in Kanchanaburi, Thailand's largest province, is the site of Mueang Sing historical park.
Getting There - it's best to drive there since it is located in the countryside around a 25 minute drive from Kanchanaburi city. However, there is a rural railway station nearby.
Attractions - The main attraction of the site is the two temples, dating back over 1000 years. It is rare to find such old historical sites in Thailand.
Food & Restaurants - There are some cafe's located on site and there are more shops currently under construction.
Facilities - There is ample parking on site and a clean public toilet.
My personal review of the historical park is that it is what every tourist imagines when travelling to South East Asia. The temple ruins are located in a jungle area and have become overgrown with trees which plays up to the imagery often depicted in western tv and film. The site is not busy and you have a lot of freedom to walk around and explore and take photographs with very few people in the background. The gardens of the site are well maintained and it's evident that the site is well taken care of.#temple #thailand #kanchanaburi #asia

Prasat Muang Singh No. 1, Tambon Singh, Amphoe Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi
Entrance fee is 20 baht per person, parking fee is 50 baht.
I drove in. The place is spacious. There are many places to see. But the place that should not be missed is the castle. When I walked in, it looked very sacred. It was like I had traveled into another city.

Historical park with ancient ruins
It's worth stopping by this historical park with its old remains, which was formerly a Khmer outpost. Regardless of its original purpose, being in the presence of such an old and magnificent structure is practically mystical.
In the courtyard, you'll find a surviving shrine, tower gates, and antique inscriptions. It's supposed to be one of Angkor's satellite cities, the Khmer empire's capital. You may see artifacts and relics uncovered on the site at the on-site museum.

Mueang Sing Historical Park, Kanchanaburi
If you are visiting Kanchanaburi, there is another place that I would recommend you to visit. It is a historical tourist attraction in Thailand, the Mueang Sing Historical Park. This historical park is one of Thailand's historical parks, under the care of the Fine Arts Department, Ministry of Culture. It is located on the northern bank of the Khwae Noi River in Sing Subdistrict, Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province, surrounded by long mountain ranges. Originally, this castle was mentioned in the inscription of Prasat Phra Khan as Sri Chai Singha Pura. The city layout is rectangular, with city walls built of laterite, approximately 800 meters wide, referring to the width of the city, about 850 meters long, and the walls are 7 meters high. There are four entrance gates, surrounded by a moat and earthen embankment. Inside the city, there are six ponds.

Visit Prasat Muang Singh, Kanchanaburi
#Visit the ancient city, Prasat Muang Singh or Muang Singh Historical Park or simply called Prasat Muang Singh is the only ancient site with Khmer architecture. It is located in Kanchanaburi.
📌 Located on the bank of the Kwai Noi River, Tambon Singh, Amphoe Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi Province.
The architecture and sculptures are similar to those of King Jayavarman VII, the Khmer castle builder. From the excavation, important art was found, namely the Buddha statue with a reclining Buddha, Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, Nang Prajapatya Pavaramita, and also found another statue of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara with a halo. The shape of the love is similar to that found in Cambodia. The surrounding atmosphere is very quiet and shady. #100 ways to travel
