Ding ding ding! Taco Bell’s calling! Situated in the first level of Samyan Mirtrtown. It was quite empty when I came in - either it was off-peak or not that popular amongst the thais. Had the hard shell tacos set (you gotta add 30baht if you want beef) and it doesn’t come with the dips (nacho cheese) so if you want, do add that in for 20baht. I've only eaten Thai style and Hainan style in Singapore, but I've never heard of Shanghai style before. So I gave it a try. Actually, Shanghai Chicken Rice has many branches throughout Bangkok. What special about it is the rice. It is mixed with seaweed so it has a sweeter taste than normal chicken rice. It also comes with a typical Thai style sauce and a Shanghai style sauce. It's on the first floor of Samyan Mitrtown Department Store. You can get here by the subway. Get off at MRT Samyan Station. I really like the interior and design of this restaurant. There are two floors for seating eventhough it's a one storey high restaurant. I tried some congee and side dishes. The red pork belly was a bit pricey but very delicious.
