🗺️ Overview:
San Pa Pia, Doi Mae Taman, Chiang Mai Province is a destination for those who love mountains, nature and Doi Luang Chiang Dao. This is a high-altitude agricultural research station. You can clearly see the top of Doi Luang Chiang Dao on the side and it is very large. At night, you can clearly see the stars. It is a camping ground and has accommodation available.
🛤️ Travel:
Pin to Wat Chom Khiri, Chiang Dao District (about 70 km from the city, good road, can drive normally)
Later, when you are on the Wat Chom Khiri route, pin the next point to Pa Kia High-Altitude Agricultural Research Station (20 km up the mountain, takes about 1:00-1:30 hours to go up, concrete road, gravel, red soil and may encounter mud)
*There are about 6 routes to go up here. This route, the officer recommended to me again that it is easy to go up.
**Before going up the mountain Should have more than half a tank of gas. Cars that go up steep roads and long distances use a lot of gas.

🌡️ Weather:
I stayed on 13/07/2566, the rainy season. At night, it was drizzling and windy. The temperature was ~20°C (feel like lower than this).
⛰️ Interesting things:
It is a place where you can see Doi Luang Chiang Dao very clearly. At night, the sky is very dark. You can see the stars and the sky. If you come in the right season, you have a chance to see the Milky Way. There are also wild Himalayan cherry blossoms here. They usually bloom from the end of December to the middle of January. Here, they bloom gradually, not all at once. But the main thing depends on the weather each year.
The end of the year to the beginning of the year is the high season. The weather is very cold. The sky is clear and beautiful. You can see Doi Luang Chiang Dao clearly. The sunrise and sunset are big. It is very beautiful. If you come at the right time and see the wild Himalayan cherry blossoms bloom, it will be even more beautiful. If you want to see a lot of fog, come in the rainy season or the end of the rainy season, but it will be much more difficult to travel.
What you see is an open field. Because that day I was the only one, because it was low season.
