The famous Takashimaya Japanese department store has its Bangkok location attached to the ICON SIAM mall. There are multiple floors selling apparel, shoes, luggage, and food. Our favorite part of Siam Takashimaya were the supermarket and food sections on the G and UG levels - there were nice deals on sushi and ready-to-eat meals. #thailand #bangkok #takashimaya

If you want to duck out of the crowds at IconSiam and Siam Takashimaya, take the walkway on Level M across the street to ICS mall. Despite being much smaller, we found ICS to be quieter, less crowded, and have much cheaper food options. Our favorite part was the Prive hypermarket at the bottom where you can find many international groceries as well as local fruits. ICS is also conveniently connected to Charoen Nakhon station on the Gold Line, which can be taken to the BTS line. #thailand #bangkok

Japan's ICS Takashimaya shopping mall. Hey there! From the outside, this place looks no different from other shopping malls! But once you step inside, wow! It's like a whole new world! ❤ What's really interesting is that there are all kinds of local snacks on the first floor, and the environment and hygiene are superb. There are snack stalls as well as Michelin-starred restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world. ❤ You eat local snacks that cost only a few dollars, but you shop for world-famous brands. On one side is food, on the other side is luxury goods, the two are tightly together and very coordinated. Not at all awkward, I've never seen such a mall in China. ❤On one side, there are worldly fireworks, on the other side, it's like heaven on earth! ❤On the first floor, we eat the luxury goods we can't afford. Let's go up to the second, third, and fourth floors. Ha ha ha, here are local design brands. There are also local handmade crafts. They always have toys sales and it is much cheaper than buying elsewhere. Plus, I am guaranteed of good quality items when I shop here. If not, I can always get a refund. At their basements, which is same like every Takashimaya in the world, they have many food options. You can get both imported and local food products, including air-flown fresh produce.
