Sri Satchanalai Historical Park
Located in Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province, it is a place with memories and a long history. Coming here makes us feel proud and amazed by the abilities of our ancestors. They are very capable. Looking at the ancient sites that were built, it tells the prosperity of that era. There were no labor-saving tools or machines, but the buildings were all built with wisdom. They are strong and beautiful. Even though today only ruins remain, they are still beautiful for us to admire. This area is very well taken care of. We went in to absorb the atmosphere. It is very good. I would like you to go see it. The area is spacious. There are trams for us to ride around the old city. There are guides telling stories of the past for us to know. There are many types of bicycles for rent. It is suitable for sightseeing and learning about our history very well. 👍 #100 ways to travel #Get a discount without relying on luck #Get a discount without relying on luck #Natural attractions #Sukhothai travel #trip free accommodation

Visit Sukhothai's beautiful and ancient temples at Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat.
🏡 Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat or Wat Phra Borommathat Mueang Cheliang and also known as "Wat Phra Prang", Si Satchanalai Historical Park is located outside the walls of the old city of Si Satchanalai. It is a large group of ancient sites and a royal temple of the Ratchaworawihan level. There are important ancient sites in the temple, such as the main prang, which is made of laterite plastered with cement in an architecture from the Ayutthaya period. Inside the prang, there are still traces of mural paintings, but they have faded a lot.
🛕 In front of the prang, there is a chapel inside which enshrines a large Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya posture and on the right is a stucco Buddha image in the walking posture. Let's come to the temple wall. Here, there will be large round stones and platforms arranged close together in a rectangle, 60 meters wide and 90 meters long. Above the archway, it is made to look like a roof spire. Above the archway, it is made in the shape of the face of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.
😉 Anyone who comes to visit Sukhothai, try to come to Si Satchanalai. There are also ancient sites for us to visit and learn about. It is another tourist attraction in Sukhothai Province that you must not miss.

Ancient city
The Si Satchanalai Historical Park is a historical park in Si Satchanalai district, Sukhothai Province, northern Thailand. The park covers the ruins of Si Satchanalai and Chaliang. Si Satchanalai, which literally means "City of good people", was founded in 1250 as the second center of the Sukhothai Kingdom and as a residence of the crown prince in the 13th and 14th centuries.
The city was rectangular in shape. In the 16th century, a 5-metre high wall with an upstream moat was built to fend off the growing Burmese attacks. The location of the town was facilitated by two neighboring dominant hills. The park is maintained by the Fine Arts Department of Thailand with help from UNESCO, which has declared it a World Heritage Site together with the associated historic parks in Kamphaengphet and Sukhothai. Similar to Sukhothai Historical Park, Si Satchanalai Historical Park attracts thousands of visitors each year, who marvel at the ancient Buddha figures, palace buildings and ruined temples. The park is easily toured by bicycle or even on foot.

#city view
Si Satchanalai Historical Park, a prosperous old city in the past, but now only broken bricks, broken pillars, abandoned prangs, old pagodas remain, but it still retains its charm and magic, the wonder that people in ancient times were able to create the things that we see so exquisitely, beautifully, and very large, even after hundreds of years. It makes us think back to how beautiful this city would have been if it had not collapsed in the past.

The view of the rice fields at Ban Na Ton Chan.
Located in Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province, these rice fields are not terraced like the ones we visited before. They are expansive fields where the community has come together to build bamboo bridges, allowing visitors to walk through and admire the fields up close, take beautiful photos without harming the rice plants. This is a great community initiative promoting eco-tourism. It's a must-visit destination because the photos turn out stunning. It's recommended to arrive around 4 PM to get beautiful shots without the crowds and enjoy the lovely lighting. If you visit, make sure to stop by!👍

Huai Ton Hai, Ban Na Ton Chan, Sukhothai.
The Huai Ton Hai viewpoint area is a must-visit destination for nature lovers. Here, you can witness a sea of mist. The hike up is not too far, although there are some steep sections, but compared to other mountains, it's worth the effort to see the sunrise. We started our hike at 5 AM, guided by a local guide. Along the way, there are several rest stops. We were accompanied by a dog named Kham Kaeo, who was very adept at hiking. Upon reaching the viewpoint, there's a small coffee stall offering hot coffee and simple bread. The atmosphere is wonderful, with cool and refreshing air. The guide serves coffee in bamboo tubes instead of cups, which makes the coffee taste even better. For those who love adventure, this is highly recommended. Beautiful views, great photos, and fresh air with a sea of mist. 👍😘

Si Satchanalai Historical Park
In addition to Sukhothai Historical Park, if you drive past Si Satchanalai, I would like you to visit Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Although the area may not be as wide as Sukhothai Historical Park, it is worth a visit.
Si Satchanalai Historical Park has been honored to be registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the name "Historic City of Sukhothai and Associated Towns". The interior is quite large, but you can walk or take the park's shuttle bus. However, if you have time, I recommend walking around, slowly looking at historical sites, and reading about the history of each point.
