We stayed at Skyview Hotel for 3 nights. It had a great location - within walking distance (about 3 mins)to Phrom phong BTS, makes it convenient to go anywhere and save a lot of money and time to get around Bangkok. It’s also right next to the huge, luxury shopping mall - Emporium and Emquartier. There’s a 7-11 right opposite which is my to-go everyday while I was in Bangkok! Room is spacious with comfortable bed and clean bathroom. There was also a very nice scent upon entering the hotel lobby. Pool is in a decent size, clean and nice. The walls are decorated with graffiti-style posters, and the warm lighting mixed with neon lights reflects the street culture of Japan. The restaurant is divided into two floors. The lower floor is a bar, and the upper floor is the dining area, which can accommodate up to 30 people. The counter is surrounded by an open kitchen, where you can see the chefs grilling fresh ingredients right in front of you. They will then serve each dish on a paddle, while speaking Japanese, creating a unique dining experience. We tried the miso soup with shrimp and clams, followed by a salmon salad and some delicious grilled items, such as broccoli, mushrooms, chicken liver, and chicken wings. #rooftop review Today, we're going to one of the rooftop bars at Skyview Hotel, Bangkok. This place is called Vanilla Sky, a rooftop bar on the 35th floor, which is the top floor of the hotel. The area here is not very wide, and there aren't many tables, so I'd like to recommend coming early to reserve a table by the edge for an even better view. Although the place itself isn't very impressive, the view is still good. Bangkok at night is really beautiful. Go up there when the sun sets and stay until it gets dark, enjoy the view and sip a drink. If you're looking for a rooftop to chill with friends, this is a good place to go. It's very convenient to get to. Take the BTS and get off at Phrom Phong station, then walk a short distance.
