One Day in Phuket
Yesterday, I just returned from Phuket—a short trip of only two nights, but it was filled with memorable experiences that I’d love to share.
I chose to stay at a hotel with a serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. After checking in and unpacking, I began my light exploration of Phuket, focusing on the city area because I wanted to experience the "authentic Phuket" beyond just beaches and the sea.
On the first night, I visited a restaurant called THYME Cafe & Brunch (Halal). The place is stylishly minimalist yet cozy, with excellent service. The menu is diverse, offering both Western-style dishes and local specialties presented beautifully. I ordered a main dish paired with a hot coffee, and the flavors exceeded my expectations. Another impressive aspect is that the restaurant is Halal, making it a great choice for anyone looking for delicious food that caters to various needs. THYME is definitely the answer.
On the second night, I switched gears and relaxed at Sally Phuket Old Town, a small bar located in the old town area of Phuket. The vibe here was completely different from the first night—the music was chill, perfect for unwinding, sipping a cold drink, and watching people pass by in the charming old town. I think this spot is ideal whether you’re traveling solo or with friends; the atmosphere is equally enjoyable. 💞 Reason to recommend: Relaxed solo travel, no motorbike needed to get around.
