#getgoing2025 I had an amazing dinner at Somboon Seafood in Bangkok with some friends, and let me tell you, this place is a must-visit if you're a fan of fresh seafood! It’s super popular, so be sure to make a reservation ahead of time. We came for the famous Phu Pha Pong Curry (crab curry), and it definitely lived up to the hype. The crab was perfectly cooked, and the curry was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. We also tried their grilled shrimp, which were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Every dish we had was fresh and expertly prepared. The restaurant itself has a nice, casual vibe, making it perfect for a relaxed yet special night out with friends. Thailand is a gourmet paradise. There are many kinds, from Tom Yum Kung to Poo Pad Pong Curry, Som Tam, etc., and each restaurant has a different taste, so it's fun to eat a variety of dishes in many places. Among them, I still can't forget the Michelin restaurant, Som Boon Seafood, which was near my accommodation~ Poo Pad Pong Curry with only crab meat... It was really the best taste in my life. It melted in my mouth and was so savory! I don't really like Tom Yum Kung, but it didn't have a strong flavor, so it went down smoothly. #August travel support event I ate Thai seafood at somboon seafood. The price is more expensive than local restaurants, but the taste was good. It is located in Central World Mall, so the interior of the restaurant was cool and comfortable. However, the mall is so big that it took a long time to find a restaurant.

#songkran2024 Somboon Seafood is famous for their fried curry crab (660 baht - m size) and I can see why! Sweet and not spicy sauce that loaded with alot of eggs. So addictive that we finished every single drop of the sauce! The crab is also super fresh. However, do take note that the service is not the best. There is some waiting time as they tend to be quite busy. Nevertheless worth the wait!

When thinking of "Somboon Phochana", "Crab Curry Powder" comes to mind. This restaurant is famous for its crab curry powder. If you have never tried it, I recommend ordering the crab curry powder. You will get lots of crab meat, delicious and satisfying. You will not be disappointed. This menu costs 480/840/1,240 baht. #dreamdestination Today we will take you to eat a huge plate of crab curry with lots of crab. Where is the curry powder? I only found crab!! Let me tell you that this dish is so filling. Every table I look at has ordered it. At Somboon Phochana, a legendary restaurant in Ratchada area. Today we ordered Chinese food because we came to a company party, but look at everyone. They were so full they begged for their lives. It was so delicious, very filling, and very worthwhile. Let me tell you that I highly recommend this restaurant. It is conveniently located next to the subway. The price is not expensive compared to the quality. #Bangkok restaurants

Somboon seafood is a hot favourite amongst the Thai locals, as well as tourists, simply because their food is fresh and everything taste perfect and delicious. This seafood restaurant is famous for their Thai crab curry and you can have it in the deshelled version, which I did. It was easy to eat, without having to peel off the crab shell. Surprisingly, the crab curry wasn't that spicy and my kids enjoyed it tremendously. Other dishes that we have tried is their Tom yum koong, crab meat fried rice, deep fried prawn balls, and their deep fried garlic squid. All dishes were delicious and I would give them a perfect score of 100.
