[2025 Phuket Attraction] Travel Guide for Surin Beach (Updated Mar)

This is one of my favourite beaches and also one of the best beaches in Phuket, clean beach with clear water during dry and semi wet seasons. There’s no dirty river or sewer flowing into the sea. Many sun loungers for rent, bargain for ฿100 per person for half a day use. Many street vendors selling food, cocktails and beer. Public toilet is under renovation as of Nov 2024. Can be busy but able to find a spot to relax especially under the trees. The waves are milder in the morning and in the evening just before sunset. Stronger waves in the afternoon.

Not only it offers a great scenery but you will also find a lot of locals spending their time here as well. It is always good to be able to see how locals doing activities here. #beachaholic Beautiful white sand beach, quiet and full of Thai food stalls. Not too many visitors so we can freely enjoy the beauty of the beach and the tranquility of the beach. Around the beach there are many fruit and ice cream sellers. Here you can also rent a mini surfboard for 100 bath purchases per hour, we had fun like crazy. #phukettrip One of the best beach I have ever been! The sea water is incredibly clear enough to see own foot at bottom. When it becomes afternoon, jellyfish become lively, so better to go in the morning time if want to enjoy in the water. The decent size of wave will come so that kids can either enjoy floating on it or get scrambled :) I will definitely stay at the hotel around Surin area and go to this beach next time I travel to Phuket.

Another beautiful beach in Phuket was Surin Beach. To those who are beach person like me, do not miss this beach when you visit Phuket.

Surin Beach is located in Tambon Cherngtalay, Amphoe Thalang. It is a beautiful beach in Phuket Province, located between Kamala Beach and Bangtao Beach. The beach has white sand, contrasting with the blue sky. But today it is a little cloudy. Both ends of the beach are capes extending into the sea, full of coconut trees. The waves on the beach are quite strong, making this a popular place for surfing. If you want to come, it is not difficult. It is easy to travel. There is a large parking lot. You can travel by taking Highway 4025. Then you will see a 3-way intersection. You will see a sign for Surin Beach. Turn into Soi Surin Beach 8 and go straight for about 200 meters. You will reach the beach. There is a parking lot along the beach that can accommodate about 40-50 cars. But if you do not have a private car, you can come by a songthaew that will be parked at the fountain roundabout in Phuket Town. Take the line that goes to Phuket-Victory Monument-Cherngtalay-Bangtao-Surin Beach-Kad Kamala.

Chill Out cafe & bistro Phuket is located in front of Surin Beach. It is a place to chill out, decorated to blend in with the sea, in a chic and cute style. This place mainly sells orange juice, such as fresh oranges, orange tea, orange coffee, and orange cocoa. Previously, it was open every day from 13:00-18:00. However, it is currently open only on Saturdays and Sundays. If you want to take cool photos while enjoying the beautiful view of Surin Beach, this place is definitely a great place. #winterseatrip
