TCDC Thailand Creative & Design Center, an ultra-cool art library and research center.
TCDC Thailand Creative & Design Center is located on Charoen Krung Road, the oldest street in Bangkok. It is housed in a historic post office building with grand stone walls. The front building facing the street is the 'General Post Office,' while the rear building is the 'Thailand Creative Center,' making the architecture quite striking.
The layout design of TCDC is quite unique. The entrance is on the 5th floor, accessible by elevator. The lobby features a café and an information desk. After purchasing a ticket and exchanging it for a pass, you can enter for a visit.
The 5th floor's Creative Space is a workspace and meeting room combined with business, where the Creative Business Service can always respond to inquiries about creativity, design, and business.
The 4th floor's Resources Center is similar to an open library with a bright and spacious area, housing over 18,000 art and design books. The 3rd floor is the Make Space, where you can rent equipment like 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters. The 2nd floor is the Material & Design Innovation Center, and the 1st floor is the Gallery.
It is both a library and a research center, reflecting Thailand's emphasis on design aesthetics. No wonder new malls and hotel designs always attract global attention. TCDC is quite worth a visit.

Fashionable study
Lovely little library/creative centre tucked away in the Grand Postal Building. It houses a few exhibitions, wonderful rooftop area and an excellent collection of fashion/design books. Some of which would cost serious cash to add to your collection.
It's also a very quiet space perfect for working online or studying.
Costs 100 baht for a day pass or can be a member. Can also get free entry from your cellphone provider via a Line QR

Khao-Sarn-Sek, an exhibition that will change the perspective on rice.
#NewYearNewTrip The “Up-RICE-ing” event at TCDC Bangrak is an exhibition that opens up the world of Thai rice, gathering many varieties of rice from all over the country for us to taste and experience the different flavors in each growing area. This shows that each type of rice has its own unique characteristics.
In addition to tasting rice, there is also a zone of fermented rice water that lets us try smelling the rice, allowing us to better understand the complexity of rice flavors. This event also presents the Rice Flavor Wheel, a wheel that helps identify the flavors and aromas of each variety of Thai rice, similar to those used in the coffee and wine industries.
And finally, the Mango Sticky Rice Ice Cream menu, served with 3 types of sauces: Panang, Green Curry, and Tom Kha. The flavors are strange but go together very well. Each cup is about 89 baht, a dessert that impressively ends the experience of Thai rice.

Capture the atmosphere at the front yard of TCDC.
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck Bangkok Design Week is held in many corners of Bangkok. In this post, we will talk about the area in front of the General Post Office. In fact, in the event that showcases the works of various artists, there is also a boom for selling products such as postcards, shirts, other decorations, and many restaurants that come to repeat the portfolio for everyone as well.
There will be live music from artists who rotate to play for the public to listen to as well. In fact, if I could ask for it, I would have wanted the cold weather at the end of last year because it would make me enjoy walking around choosing things to buy or admiring the works of the artists comfortably.
