Bangkok | Famous Thai traditional snack shop, a snack stall recommended by Michelin for 4 years, handmade and delicious
Do you think Thailand only has mango sticky rice? wrong! Khanom Buang, a Thai crispy cookie that even Bangkok locals queue up for, is the real hidden delicacy king! I was accidentally attracted by the aroma at CentralWorld and discovered that this stall, which has been recommended by Michelin for 4 consecutive years, makes fresh and handmade food every day. It smells so good when you get close to it!
I ordered three different flavors and they were all amazing: the crust was crispy on the outside and the filling was rich and not too sweet, which made me want to keep eating!
Recommended reasons:
① The authentic Thai dim sum that locals also line up for is very fragrant
② Sweet but not greasy, crispy crust

This newly opened milk tea shop in Bangkok is my No.1 Thai milk tea shop!
Khiri Thai Tea is very close to Bangkok's Chinatown. If you plan to go shopping and eat delicious food in Chinatown, I highly recommend stopping by for a drink!
Many people say that this is the "ceiling of Thai milk". Not only are the drinks special, but the environment of the store is also very attractive. The whole store is full of Thai style, colorful and design-conscious. You will be healed as soon as you walk in. Watching the clerk making drinks on the spot is also super healing.
The drink has a strong milky flavor but is not overly sweet, and is priced in the mid-to-high range, but it’s really worth a try. If you come to Bangkok for a trip and want to try some different Thai milk, this shop must be put on your wishlist!

Bangkok|I started crying after seeing the third photo! 27 days after the earthquake, this exhibition reminded me of how beautiful Myanmar used to be
In a new corner of Bangkok's art and culture, there is a small exhibition area that you may miss. It is exhibiting in a low-key manner. The exhibition area is small and there is no noisy setting, but every photo hits my heart hard.
It was an earthquake that occurred on March 28, 2025. The photographer went deep into the disaster area and captured the strength and helplessness of life in the devastated scene.
I couldn't help but tear up when I stood in front of the third photo - a little girl was sitting in front of her collapsed home, her eyes empty but she was still holding the doll tightly, which was all she had left.
Myanmar was once one of my favorite countries: simple, kind, leisurely and full of faith. But it has experienced a lot in recent years, including a coup, a blockade, and now an earthquake. Every blow is like telling this country that you can't live well
This exhibition does not have any unnecessary preaching, only pictures that tell the reality and pain.

Bangkok | Thought I walked into a traditional Chinese medicine shop? Turns out it’s a delightful surprise!
Discover the super creative fragrance store Karma & Son.
During my trip to Bangkok, I was just looking for a place to cool off when I accidentally stumbled upon a shop that looked exactly like a traditional Chinese medicine store. As soon as I opened the door, wooden cabinets, medicine jars, and vintage labels came into view, making me feel like I had traveled back in time to old Hong Kong or a nostalgic Taiwanese street.
Upon closer inspection, I realized this wasn’t a Chinese medicine shop but an incredibly creative fragrance brand store—Karma & Son!
This fragrance shop is truly a paradise for scent lovers. With its strong aesthetic and boundless creativity, it’s the kind of place you step into and never want to leave.
The experience completely redefined my perception of fragrance stores and deepened my admiration for Thai design and creativity. If you’re like me and love fragrances, have a bit of a hipster soul, and enjoy taking stunning photos of store interiors, this place will absolutely steal your heart!

Bangkok|Enter the Thai version of the secret garden! Ari Station's popular flower wall cafe, the desserts are so beautiful that you can't bear to eat them
Located near BTS Ari Station, Thongyoy Cafe is like falling into a Thai fairytale garden as soon as you walk in! There are flowers everywhere in the store, from the dried flowers hanging from the ceiling to the entire flower wall, it is super dreamy, and any corner is so photogenic, it is simply a paradise for internet beauties.
When I went there that day, I actually saw with my own eyes a group of internet beauties taking photos in front of the flower wall for a very long time, from individual close-ups to group photos, and even changing their clothes and accessories all the time, basically treating this place as a location studio!
But seriously, this flower wall is really magical. The color combination of the flowers is so beautiful and the background lighting is great. It looks like a magazine cover no matter how you shoot it. Seeing how seriously they were taking photos, I couldn't help but take a few more photos. I totally understand why everyone wants to make a pilgrimage here.

This time when I was visiting the Ari district in Bangkok, I accidentally walked into the super famous hipster gathering place GUMP’s Ari Community Space. In addition to cafes and small shops, there was even a photo sticker machine hidden on the first floor!

Bangkok|Stay at a 3-star hotel in Bangkok for only 900! The lobby is simple but I feel very safe staying here. Even the locals secretly stay at Mido Hotel
#AprilGoodDestinations2025
Although the lobby decoration of Mido Hotel is relatively simple and not as gorgeous as those of high-end hotels, it still retains a local style. After some observation, I found that almost all the guests staying here are local Thai tourists, and there are relatively few tourists, which makes the overall atmosphere quieter and less commercial. If there is an opportunity to renovate it in the future, I believe it will attract more foreign tourists to stay. But this state also has its advantages - staying here feels more down-to-earth, like staying on a list recommended by locals!

I arrived at about 10:30 in the morning this time, and the whole store was almost full, with a constant stream of people, most of whom were locals coming to dine in and take out, which shows that it is very popular locally. In addition to coffee, the store also offers desserts and savory main courses, which are also of quite high quality. Bangkok | The artistic painted walls are worth a walk to feel the artistic cells of the locals
Walking into Painted Alley is like entering a visual feast. The walls on both sides of the alley are covered with colorful graffiti and large murals, which combine traditional Chinese elements, local Thai culture, and modern art styles. It makes people unable to help but take pictures while walking.
The graffiti here is not just decoration, but more like a street story. Every wall tells a story of Talat Noi’s history and transformation.
Moreover, this place is extremely popular with foreign tourists. Regardless of whether it is a weekday or a holiday, you can always see many tourists taking photos with their mobile phones or cameras. It is a paradise for literary youths and photography enthusiasts. You can discover new surprises every few steps, it's well worth exploring again and again!
In addition, there are many retro cafes and hipster shops hidden around Talat Noi. The buildings retain colonial style and Chinese wooden elements. Taking a walk among them, time seems to slow down.

This area,
This area, which has become popular in recent years, not only carries the historical style of old Bangkok, but also gathers countless treasure shops and young creative energy, making people unable to stop once they step in!
Songwa Road is not long, but there are surprises at every corner: independent bookstores, hipster selection shops, vintage furniture, design brands and specialty cafes. The old houses, warehouses, iron window grilles and arcade buildings of the early Chinese settlements are preserved here, but they are infused with the soul of the new generation. Many shops are run by young Thais, with unique styles and a friendly atmosphere.
We originally planned to just take a short stroll, but we ended up being trapped here for the entire afternoon once we walked in, visiting one store after another. Even in the evening we still felt that we didn't have enough time, and many alleys hadn't been explored in depth. It was like we were playing an urban version of a treasure hunt game.
Not only do young Thai people like to come here to party, go shopping and take photos on weekends, but it is also attracting more and more international tourists. If you like a non-typical city trip and don’t want to just visit the popular attractions, then you should definitely add Songwa Old Town to your list of must-visit places in Bangkok!
