This time, I came to Hua Hin and stopped by to use the service again at The Standard Hua-Hin, a 5-star hotel that opened its first branch here and another branch at MahaNakhon Building. Since I came back again, I stopped by to tell you about it. The Standard, Hua-Hin is located near Hua Hin Beach. The hotel consists of both a building and a villa. The building side has Standard King, Superior King, Standard Twin, Superior Twin, Standard Suite and Superior Suite rooms, depending on the room size. There are also three types of villas: Standard Pool Villa with a private pool on the first floor, Canopy Villa on the second floor with a beautiful corner bathtub, and Bayside Villa facing the sea. The hotel lobby is open-air, an open space. Check-in this time was very fast. However, this time, there was no welcome drink or map like the last time. The staff still smiled and greeted me as well as before. From the last time I stayed at Canopy Villa, this time, I had little time, so I tried a normal room, a King Size Higher View, on the 6th floor of Building A. Lido Restaurant is located in The Standard Huahin Hotel. It is an all-day dining restaurant and serves breakfast buffet here. The concept is Italian food using quality ingredients. The interior decoration of the restaurant emphasizes natural wood tones, which are easy on the eyes, interspersed with trees and green, orange, cream cushions with various leaf patterns, beautifully decorated and inspired by Frank Sinatra's living room. Hello everyone! This is my first time in Hua Hin. I looked at reviews for a long time about where to stay. In the end, I chose The Standard because I really like the pool corner. They claim that it's like bringing Miami to this place.🥹 This time, we stayed for 2 nights and booked a pool villa. We used the "We Travel Together" privilege and it cost 10,000 baht per night (including breakfast). I think the price is really good. The hotel informed us that since we were staying on a weekday, they gave us a 1,000 baht credit that we could use to pay for food in the hotel. So, we booked a Praça dinner. It was a Thai fusion dish. The highlight for us was the Kra Pao Tarco, or fried wontons wrapped in basil. The basil tasted really good and went well with the fried wontons. Overall, it was okay.
