Let's visit Nan during the rainy season!
Last year, I had the chance to explore Nan during the rainy season. It rained almost all day, creating a refreshing atmosphere. ☔️
📍 I chose to travel in a circular route within Nan province: starting from Mueang Nan District -> Pua District -> Sapan Village -> back to Mueang Nan District.
🕝 It was a 4-day, 3-night trip using a private car, and I stayed at different accommodations each night. It was so much fun!
📸 Highlights of the trip:
- Nan Riverside Art Gallery
- Phumin Temple
- Mon Sakad
- Sapan Village
- Clothes-Folding Curve
- Highway No. 3
For those who have never visited Nan during the rainy season, I highly recommend it!

Travel to Nan
Nan Province is a very quiet province. For those who want a private vacation, I recommend this place. The locals live a slow life, not rushing, very suitable for relaxation. Traveling from the city to tourist attractions will take some time because most tourist attractions have to go up the mountain. But when you get to your destination, it's very worthwhile. #Pua

Folding Cloth Curve Viewpoint - Bo Kluea District, Nan Province
This is another beautiful road viewpoint in Nan Province where tourists like to stop and take beautiful pictures. This point is called the Folded Cloth Curve or Folded Cloth Road. The highlight is the road that curves up the hill, alternating left and right, layered like a folded cloth. This viewpoint is a section of the elevated road number 1081, Bo Kuea-Santisuk route. The view on both sides of the road is surrounded by nature and mountains, making it look like this road is floating in the sky. If there was a drone flying, the picture would be even more beautiful. But the route from Bo Kluea District is very brutal and steep. You have to be careful both going up and down. After driving past this point, there will be a place to park your car on the right-hand side and then walk to the viewpoint. After this point, there will be a viewpoint of Road No. 0 and Road No. 3.
📍Road No. 1081, Bo Kluea District, Nan Province
🚗 There is a place to park your car. It is not recommended to park on the side of the road because it is an uphill and downhill point, which is quite dangerous.
